Yo dragon night 5555, that’s right my friend. I might be different to most people (call me weird) but I don’t have an inclination to have to take stickers off devices or tech as soon as I get them. Hope that doesn’t bother you too much 🤷🏽♂️
@@danielmambaodoi yep and also it happens you are the only person who can use a mouse with its sensor covered by sticker, right? :D please show it on video
I’ve used the Mx master 3 for 1.5 years and still developed carpal tunnel. If you want maximum ergonomic comfort proof…go with the vertical mouse. That saved my hand. I had to sell my mx master as much as I loved it. Oh and don’t ever get white mouse…you can’t get rid of the sweats and dirts accumulates overtime.
Never use it in an high refresh rate monitor. The polling rate is so low that it's actually lagging. I would love to see them fix this so I finally have the mouse of my dreams.
I kinda like the trackpad built into the Magic Mouse. My main issue is slow tracking. You can sort-of update the acceleration via the command prompt but the tracking is still poor. On my work PC I have tracking maxxed and it’s excellent.
+1 the only thing I regret from leaving the Magic Mouse is the responsiveness of the in-built trackpad. Sometimes I find myself frustrated with the lag of the MX Master 3S BUT when I factor in the custom buttons and overall form factor, it JUST edges out. Glad to hear it’s best suited for your work PC setup!
I have the same mouse, i use it for adobe programs and it also has custom profiles for each application. For example in photoshop the side scroll adjusts the brush size. Theres also a gesture button where your thumb sits. The ONLY issue i have found is the white one gets dirty instantly, since its rubber its hard to clean
Using the MX Master 3S, and own a 2nd handed Magic Mouse. I find that the MX Master 3S is way more comfortable and has more customization. It also works with Windows, which is a big plus.
So i spend a lot of time editing videos in FCPX on Mac so moving horizontally across the timeline has been made easier with the side scroll, plus I've assigned common FCPX actions (i.e. blade, select tool) to the side buttons. Now I no longer need to use the keyboard keys to jump to those functions!
Just got one tonight after my original Magic Mouse (I.e. with batteries, not stupidly designed to have a charging port ON THE BOTTOM) started to loose connection throughout the day (it’s old lol) - now to get used to this new style! 😅
You won't regret it Amelia! Especially when you're spending hours editing your epic RU-vid content! Within a week, I got used to it and honestly, don't want to go back to the form of the Magic Mouse
@@danielmambaodoi awesome! I’m sure I’ll get used to it then! Haha aw thanks for that Daniel 😊☺️ and the day job is also social media and content creation so it’s literally all day 😅 I’m sure my wrist will thank me haha
Smootest scrollwheel- it is literally lagging and jumpy. Just bought it few weeks ago. And i would love to love it, nut the scroll wheen is not presice and not smooth.. also with MOS - I hope there would be better options for magic mice as it hurts my hand..
They have multiple buttons on it that you can bind so that when to press it and move the mouse in a direction, it does the same action as gestures such as swiping between spaces or going into Mission Control. This is by default already setup and feels very natural. I just got this mouse after over a year with the Magic Trackpad and I haven’t had to use the trackpad. I definitely think you should give it a go.
Yo my guy! That mousepad/desk mat is the black OrbitKey Desk Mat which comes in 3 different sizes. I've had it for years and absolutely love it. Check it out here: www.orbitkey.com.au/products/orbitkey-desk-mat?variant=32925546446902
Hi , do you have any advice how to clean the stain in thumbs part? i just using it several days and it's look yellowing. Even I use this mouse with clean hands
Yeah it’s a bit of a pain isn’t it? I bought a $3 lint-free cloth that I have in my desk drawer and whenever I’ve had a long editing session, I just dampen it with water and rub it firmly into the mouse to remove the stains. That’s worked for me so give it a go!
I honestly really like it. I thought it was slightly overhyped when I first saw it, but the tray for pens, the magnets to tie down cables plus the space for storing notes/paper under the mat have all been SUPER useful and worth paying a little extra (compared to just a generic desk mat)
I haven’t encountered any lagging issues so I’d assume it’s been updated? My best best would be to reset to factory settings and make sure you’ve got the most up-to-date software for Logi Options+ installed on your computer/laptop!
I just got one last week for my Mac and it kept lagging but I realized it was just because the wireless receiver didn't have a clear signal to the mouse
I’ve heard mixed reports that many still experience lag even on the Mac version. In my personal experience (I’ve nearly had it for 9-10 months), I haven’t had any lagging with the Mac version so recommend you give it a try!
To my eyes, they're a near-perfect match to the colours as the Magic Keyboard! I believe they're targeting the Apple market that want to pair it with their existing Magic Keyboards (or upgrade to their 'Logitech MX Keys Mini Wireless Keyboard for Mac)
I am really disappointed with its scroll noise and extension. I have both mx 3 and mx 3s and tought buy the latter would be an upgrade in my setup, but the automatic scrollling is smaller abd noisy thab the mx 3. Did it happened to somebody else?
@@rawskrt6722correct! Water seems to work well for me but if you've got stubborn stains, consider using a table-top stain remover that works better with more stubborn stuff
It's definitely a nice mouse to have (as I started with it), but be warned that if you're using it for HOURS over a long period of time, it might lead to some issues with your wrists/fingers. Look after those hands my man!
It should, the only differences are the design and the lack of the Bolt receiver. Everything else is pretty much the same. Oh and it comes with a USB-C/USB-C cable.
Currently using my iPhone 13 Pro’s ‘Continuity Camera’ feature as my webcam and setting it up on my Elgato Multi Mount L with a Joby GripTight Pro 2 clamp. Here’s an article I shared on how you can do it yourself: creatorswithcharisma.ck.page/posts/on-using-your-iphone-as-a-webcam
In my experience, I’ve had 0 lag or jitter when pairing with the Mac (and you can adjust the sensitivity in the Logi Options + app if you need a faster/more sensitive experience)
I'm getting older and my hand has been bothering me so I ended up getting this mouse and I've been too loyal to apple lol the minimal design isn't practical.
100% the same brother. I was putting up with wrist cramps because I was too stubborn/loyal to Apple even though it's the least ergonomic design for a mouse. Glad to hear you've made the switch as well!
MX master are the most expensive option, there are tons of gaming mouse out there to fit all hand with all grip style, if you're using magic mouse like in this video, yeah, help your self with a gaming mouse, I can guarantee you after 2 week you will not switch back, magic mouse is just shit
Amen Satrio! Ultimately it’s about choosing the mouse that works best for you. I’m not a gamer (but digital creator) so having a mouse with a lot of customizable buttons was really handy for me switching between Lightroom, Photoshop, Final Cut Pro, Sketch and other creative apps. What’s your current gaming mouse?
@@danielmambaodoi I’m not a gamer too, I’m a digital designer, my current mouse is keychron m6, I just choose the gaming mouse area for ergonomic, reliability and customisation 😅
Mx master 3s is very good but the mac edition is a rip off , Windows edition you get the usb dongle for connection. I bought it seperately. Less latency and less hassle than Bluetooth. Buy the Windows edition 😁
My friend! I gotta admit I'm not across the "polling rate" but I haven't experienced too much lag. Any recommendations on how I (or others with a MacBook) can reduce the lag?
@@danielmambaodoi at the moment, only solution is to use logitech bolt or unify usb dongle. But issue there is that it's only usb-a.. my solution is to buy another mouse (this time from razor)
@@danielmambaodoi In your earlier comments you said there or no logs etc, have you started to experience any lags? I'm trying to choose a mouse for macbook only and I'm used to only use trackpad. Magic mouse seems very small and bad ergonomics. I don't know what to choose still.
Hey Gunhann - I’ve had a few sporadic moments when I experience lagging but now that I’ve had it for +6 months, I can confidently say it’s been a really good investment. If you want to avoid all the ergonomic issues that I’ve had with the Magic Mouse and plan to use your laptop consistently for +2 hours per day, then your future wrist will thank you for buying it!
Have you found a way to keep your mouse clean my guy? Seeing a lot of comments from folks complaining about the staining - would love your $0.02 if you’ve solved it!
Good call my man. It's just started turning into summer here in Australia and the more my palms have been sweating, the quicker it takes for the mouse to get stained!
