In today’s video we are talking about the rugged folio keyboard case for the 10.2” iPad.
Since I bought this device I have been looking at case that I thought would be good.
I’ve always gone straight to the otter box case in the past, so I knew I wanted to try something new.
Given the power behind the new base model iPad, I wanted to try the keyboard case experience to see how closely this matches up to a true laptop feel.
This case exceeds military standard for drop testing and is also water resistant. The rugged case is perfect for my fast paced lifestyle and I look forward to using it in the future.

I think it is definitely better than the Apple keyboard case. In my opinion, the main difference between the two is the Apple case isn’t really a “case”. It’s more of a Smart Keyboard attachment that doubles as a stand. It doesn’t protect the iPad all the way around like the Logitech case does. The Apple case also isn’t as durable as the rugged case from Logitech. The Logitech case is exactly what the name describes it as, “rugged”. Another difference between the two is the Logitech keyboard is water and dust resistant. So all in all, I definitely trust my iPad in the Logitech case over the Apple keyboard case. Hope that helps! So this case uses the smart connector on the iPad itself which means no charging the keyboard or needing to use power. The only power it needs is when you are typing on it. I have been using the case since I uploaded the video I have not noticed any significant change in battery life on my iPad at all. Also since is draws power through the smart connector, there is no “on off” switch. It just is there anytime you need it! Only drawing the power it uses when typing. Hope that clears it up for ya. So the height and width are the same yes. But the thickness of the 7th gen iPad is slightly thicker than the iPad Air 3. Which means it will be not a true fit. Will probably still work but not an exact fit.

No screen protector. I haven’t had one on and my iPad has been handled by my three smaller kids for over a year and no scratches.

Hey there! I bought it, but now I cant stick my Apple Pen into the lightning adapter anymore. I tried to to take the cover off the IPad, but I dont know How! Is there any strategy for That?? Help would be much appreciated!

typ. As soon as you correctly fold the keyboard back, it should deactivate it for the device. Letting you use your onscreen keyboard instead

No lol. You should be able to remove it from the case. Just might take some force. It has designed to stay in firmly but not permanent haha

hi.love the video! I have a MacBook Pro 13 inch but I need the iPad for school for making notes and all, which case would u recommend for me ? I have read about Slim folio, rugged and apple one, I need my iPad to be protected but able to use for netlike and school at same time Thank you!

Hey thanks for the comment! I am a super huge fan of this rugged foiling case from Logitech. It is a bit more pricey but for the extra money up front you have a case you can trust that is high quality and works effortlessly with your device. I love it. Otter box cases are too bulky lol. Thanks for the support

Sorry for the late reply lol. No its not annoying at all. I’m actually really impressed by how the case is designed. The keyboard is there when I need it and its not when I don’t. Tucks away nicely and is not in the way

I bought this two weeks ago and since today morning some keys don’t work .i updated my iPad to iPadOS 13.4.1. in the morning.did you experience this problem

Blake Graham cheers mate! Now that I realized the real issue.it wasn’t the keyboard itself but the Logitech pebble mouse setting that caused the problem.when I turn the assistive touch in order to customize the mouse buttons some part of the keyboard keys don’t work for some reason.so turned off the assistive touch and as a result of that can’t get the full potential of the mouse support of the update.anyway the keyboard is really good and built quality of it is awesome.

I wouldn’t say it’s excessively heavy, but their is for sure a difference. Comparable to a thick magazine.
