Around January of 2011, Adult Swim created a series of bumps with Atlanta based radio host Lois Reitzes. She's known for her "rich" and "sophisticated" voice and has been hosting for over 40 years. It was worried that she would have been too much of an inside Atlanta joke for AS viewers.
These bumps were pitched by promo writer/producer Matt Hutchinson, which has been a fan of Lois' work for many years.
