Congress MP Manickam Tagore moved an adjournment motion demanding discussion on the issue of alleged paper leaks of NEET UG 2024 on the first day of the monsoon session. During the question hour, Speaker OM Birla allowed the questions on NEET from Rahul Gandhi, Akhilesh Yadav and others. Education minister Dharmendra Pradhan responded to them, cited the Supreme Court previous verdicts endorsing national entrance exam and also urged everyone to wait for SC verdict on the current petitions over the row. Akhilesh Yadav demanded the resignation of Pradhan.
