This Loki is outside the timeline... His file ran its course. His purpose was to be the reason the Avengers assembled. However Multiverse crisis overrides his death. So he can return to the MCU as THIS Loki.

The timeline can’t be changed. The Loki that died already lived his life and always will. This Loki is a variant who will never experience Thor 2,3 and Infinity War, at least how things stand now.

2012 Loki is the same Loki who died, he just hasn't had a chance to play those events. Mobius confirmed it when they talked about Frigga. 2012 Loki became a variant because he did something out of step with the written story, but if the TVA reboots him, as ordered by the judge, he will cease to be a variant as he will be back on track towards fulfilling his destination. . That said, I don't see this ending with Loki resting, going to die. He has seen his death and is not ready to die yet. It is likely that he continues in a variant, but in the Sacred Timeline existing with everyone else fulfilling the prophecy that he spoke to Thor before dying in Infinity War.

켈리 I think they are going with “multiverse theory” in which a new timeline is created, one in which he left, one in which he never did. That entire branching reality is being trimmed out of existence and he is the sole survivor of it. The Loki of the original timeline lived his life as we witnessed.

@@Kely-x7n in the video it states " you have no place in the timeline so now must stand trial" the put a reset bomb in 2012 to fix Loki's mess up, which put a Loki back on his path and now this one has no timeline. At the end he starts to Mobius that he can't go back and Mobius agrees and then asks him to help find this other Loki

I think this show will end with Loki destroying the TVA, which effectively means the TVA is no longer there to deal with variants and maintain the sacred timeline. That means the Multiverse is restored and back into existence *SPOILERS*, allowing the events of the upcoming Spider-Man and Doctor Strange movies to take place Since the TVA exists outside of time, them being destroyed would also mean the multiverse was always there, which is nice for Marvel because then people can watch those movies without having to have watched Loki too

I think Mobius's name is a huge hint. Think Mobius strip, an infinite loop that goes back on itself. The Loki he wants Loki to help him catch is literally himself in an infinite loop, but the agents of TVA getting killed are dying more and more during the loops, which can cause the loop to break down, because the timeline of the loop between the TVA and Loki going after himself is branching, which might eventually be capable of destroying the timekeepers. Idk though, cause I feel like my brain is bleeding.

I think that the Multi-verse IS still there already, but that the guardians ONLY safeguard the Prime timeline. Whatever happens in others is not their concern. they let other beings watch over those. Just my theory though.

Which the time cops are supposed to stop so by the logic Loki put forward that ending shouldnt work that Steve should have been melted for crimes against the sacred timeline. The writers basically made a deus ex machina which is really bad plot wise that they can just say "because we said so".

This Loki that you see is 2012 Loki. He has no idea what happens after the first avengers. That’s why he’s shocked to see his timelines future. He hasn’t lived that. And won’t. After thanos killed Endgame Loki, he was dead. He doesn’t come back to this point. That’s a different time line. This entire series is 2012 Loki from the first avengers. But instead of going through the timeline that we see in the rest of the marvel movies, he grabs the tessaeacr and becomes a variant.

It's a cool idea, Trey, but I don't think that's it. In the original timeline, Tony never got a heart attack. The Avengers created an alternate timeline during the Time Heist, and this alternate Loki (or variant) has now branched out. OG Loki didn't go through this, so when he fought Thanos, he didn't know of all this. Variant Loki is technically another Loki. Loki wouldn't live through all this and then let his mom die again just to 'preserve the Sacred Timeline'.

No, what the Black Hood is doing is trying to become a Temporal threat (a variant that messes up the timeline so much, there’s no return (Resetters won’t work)). On the radar B-15 holds, once the arrow hits the top line, a variant is officially a temporal threat.

Nah Loki can never go back to the main mcu timeline unless it was after his death but even then the timeline would be in danger if he showed up. He can only stay in the TVA from this point.

My theory is that the Loki killing TVA agents and taking the reset devices is THIS Loki in the future. A Loki who became aware of his own death in the 'sacred timeline' and the TVA, then sought to use their power to find a way around it.

Ya, like everyone has said, but just adding that when a change is made in the timeline, it creates a duplicate universe with duplicate people, or a new branch. So, this Loki, also known as a variant of the original Loki, is just a copy. He's his own man and is completely separate from the Loki we knew, loved, and lost. Multiverse time travel is complicated because of all the duplicating and branching. It can get super crazy super fast.

One thing that is majorly disturbing is that we now know that Tony’s sacrifice, Natasha’s sacrifice, Thor’s decision not to be King and etc is not their own choices. TVA said Loki’s story was already written and so was everyone else’s. That is like majorly disturbing in my opinion😂because everything they did was not their own choice in a way. Their story was written for them so everyone’s fate is literally inevitable.

The Loki from Endgame, during the Avengers “Time Heist” lived Dark World, Ragnarok and saw himself die in Infinty War. He knows now he will not be able to go back and succeed. He knows he can only die in that timeline. He can only stay here and help Mobius and the TVA if he wants a (new) future.

Remember that this Loki is the Loki from 2012, the first avengers movie. He escaped then and there so he has never lived out to see the events of thor: the dark world, thor: ragnarok, or avengers: infinity war that's why morbius was showing him his "future" on the screen because that was supposed to happen in his timeline. So now they erased his timeline and they're gonna reset it by putting him back before he stole the tesseract and make the timeline flow again.

In an old comedy series, that I've seen on Laff TV, _Night Court_ , a character (Dan Fielding) was referred to as a slag heap (a pile of waste metal) in one episode on account of him being a slime ball, but in another, when that guy's job and career was on the line, Judge Harold "Harry" T. Stone, his boss, who had seen a few times that Dan had actually been decent once or twice, said that even though his lifestyle (uh, if you can call it that 😑😓) is questionable 🤔, and acts obnoxious and perverted, that maybe there's "something salvageable under all this junk" 🤔. I believe the premise of the story in this show also applies in a similar but different (emphasis on _"different"_ 😑) way, that maybe inside of Loki, under all that junk he hides under (his anger, need for attention, arrogance and insecurities), though he still acts like a jerk sometimes 😓, is something salvageable: a potential hero 🤔😉👍😌.

infinity stones lose their power if they are outside of their home universe. As the TVA deletes alternating timelines, they end up keeping some of the infinity stones from the deleted timelines.

Excellent insight that in the main time line it is possible that because of these TVA events Loki already saw the Thanos encounter and took precautions. I like the idea that the series could possibly end with replacing Loki in the main timeline at the end of Avengers, but with his memories intact. If anyone could break the rules, Loki would be the one.

I was wondering why they didn't show the cloaked variant after it was revealed to be another version of Loki. I honestly believe when you see this version, it will be played by a different actor and this will help lay the groundwork for different looking Peter Parkers in Spider-Man No Way Home

The Loki who died had no idea he was going to die. This is a different Loki now. He will not end up in that spot this time around.

it's true¡¡¡ 2012 Loki is the same Loki who died, he just hasn't had a chance to play those events. Mobius confirmed it when they talked about Frigga. 2012 Loki became a variant because he did something out of step with the written story, but if the TVA reboots him, as ordered by the judge, he will cease to be a variant as he will be back on track towards fulfilling his destination. . That said, I don't see this ending with Loki resting, going to die. He has seen his death and is not ready to die yet. It is likely that he continues in a variant, but in the Sacred Timeline existing with everyone else fulfilling the prophecy that he spoke to Thor before dying in Infinity War.bg

I heard this series meant to be ongoing more seasons but I would like it that by the end of it; they would make it for him to switch places with the real Loki and let him live and this variant die after giving Thanos the tesseract.
