NGL I felt a ton of whiplash going from Avengers to the Loki series. I get that a lot of time has passed between making the movies but he feels like a completely different character in what would be a few hours.

He said "Well then" not "Kill him", my gues is, that he didn't meant to kill anyone, but he was forced into this sutuation. He needed the stone and I doubt they would have given it to him peacefully, thus he had to resort to violence to get it. This doesn't mean he had to kill everyone , he already took the stone, and Fury wasn't much of a threat, Loki probably left him to be buried alive under the rubble.

In this universe I always thought about Sleipnir as an Asgardian equivalent of a bike that Loki once built for Odin as a birthday gift and then the primitive humans hilariously misunderstood. "...they think I did WHAT?"

Loki like all the characters was introduced some less powerful than they originals versions, ok gotcha, but Loki is the only character that since his first appearence has been nerfed as hell in the next projects, without logic or without even an explanation to begin it, in each release he got less powerful and weaker, and in the series none couldn't not notice that anymore since he is now in his weakest point. He went from being a demi-god and half frost giant, that represent a deity in a mythos and held a considerable magic and strenght, to be like an skilled human with some magic tricks, so that lacks of a lot consistency. Is not so hard display him like he is supposed to be, how it was in the very same MCU.

He is a demi-god of thousands years old and son of allfather Odin, he embodies the asgardian God of Trickery and Lies, the illusion and magic, represents a divine pantheon, and he is also a warrior that uses the head but an elite as well, and has displayed a certaint level of power while being also a Frost-Giant mythical being. So I'm not imagining it, it literally happened, being this video just one of many proofs. I guess that If in the next project he is simply displayed as a regular human It will be normal for some people because Loki in the end is just a "trickster", his status as trickster is certantly going through from god trickster to joe trickster pretty fast. In the end, I never said I don't like MCU or how the story of the character is going foward, but that doesn't means this doesn't exist.

Feel free to ignore my comment, but I think Mindstone is an underrated stone. Looking at this scene, you can see that the brainwashed person's intelligence and judgment are enhanced. (Barton and Dr. Selvig) In the Thanos movie, he uses the Stone at the end to cloud Thor's judgment. I don't think thor was aiming for the chest.

So I rewatched the first Thor recently and damn that last bifrost scene hits so different. He didn't want the throne, knew that Odin would wake soon, and tried to kill all the Jotuns so that he could appear worthy. He even goaded Thor with the threat to Jane, maybe in hopes that Thor would kill him - thus wiping out every last Jotun. He was so lost in betrayal and rage at the end that when Thanos picked him up after he fell into the void, Thanos might have had an empty shell to work with. The End credits of the first Thor shows how absolutely crappy Loki looked in the reflection. We don't know what happened but it's obvious that Loki was being used as a pawn by Thanos.

Loki wasn’t actually in full control in this movie though right wasn’t it was confirmed that when he was gifted the sceptre from Thanos it influenced his mind, when Thor and him are at avengers tower and Thor tries to reason with him theirs a moment where he seems to hesitate almost breaking out of the influence/control but then being taken over again straight away

Doesn't change the fact that he's still a genocidal maniac that also nearly wiped out 2 planets and was involved in the deaths of thousands of innocents.
