@@ZyliceLiddell I think RamenNoodles is referring to “Infinity War” when Bruce told Tony that it was Thanos behind the attack on New York back in “The Avengers” movie
I know this is 2 years old, but I also had a feeling about this, because when Loki first arrived, he looked all sweaty and pale, like how Hawkeye did when he was brainwashed.
I wish they included the scenes with Loki and the other alien and showing him struggling with the power. This would show even more that he’s not fully himself here.
Imagine how disappointing that must have been to her though, she must have been so thrilled to have such a large part in this big movie. And then you get to the theater and it's cut down to just a brief passing clip at the beginning and the end. Even cut out a Stan Lee cameo just to cut her part down!
I can't believe they hid so many strong clues that Loki was controlled. I felt like Marvel did u-turn with Loki character after Thor and I was like "what the heck". After basically shouting to Thor that he doesn't want the throne, doing everything to prove himself to be loyal to Asgard and then trying to commit suicide when he fails, suddenly he finds army in the cosmos and tries to rule Earth? How and what for? XD Sure, there were some clues in the movie like looking sick and injured after going through portal, but I did not catch them after first watching. It's not the first time Marvel did dirty with Loki character. They also deleted the scene from Thor showing Loki cared for Odin and didn't urup the throne, as it was given to him by Frigga. Ugh.
That scene with Clint and Loki proves that Clint was the one who came with the whole plan for Loki showing himself in Germany. Never should have been deleted, so annoyed that it was.
Yes! Remains more consistent w Loki being not straight up evil, more just angry and hurt. Also, there’s so much for Clint’s character there too. That he is 100% capable of coming up with something like that (ie, eyeball extraction and innocent people getting hurt). Helps play into the “oh my god what did I do while I was brainwashed” thing.
Loki is literally in love with the tesseract. Look at the smile he has when he says "I know, it touches everyone differently." This scene is literally perfect😂😂
@@joyboy1536 As the other fella said DC released a four hour film. Although I don’t think it’d be over three hours. The runtime is 143 minutes aka 2 hrs and 23 minutes. Add another 24 minutes and you still don’t get 3 hours. And it would certainly be worth it. Marvel films are basically guaranteed to make many hundreds of millions of dollars. Where as editing in these scenes or finishing the unfinished scenes can’t be super expensive. I think a release of an extended addition could make a fair bit money in theaters, not even counting the dvd/blue ray whatever sales. So it’d definitely be a worthwhile investment.
It's really sad that Nat and Clint's fight scene were cut out.. It showed that even though they were just humans (albeit the inhumane amount of training and skill), they could still hold their own against a horde of those alien shts.. And also, the fact that sooooo much of Maria Hill was cut out is just straight up infuriating. She was the only logical person in that entire movie, truth be told lol..
Blame Marvel. Whedon's cuts for both his movies were over 3 hours long, Marvel wanted them cut down. It worked for the first movie, with it's concise and quick pace, but it resulted in way too much character stuff being cut out of Age of Ultron. A director's cut of that would be even better
@@Lanosrep i totally agree with you. it could’ve given the twins so much more character lol... idek why they cut those scenes lol it’s only a few minutes more to the movie 🤷🏻♀️
I loved Maria Hill's scenes. It made more sense to why she was a bit more anti Fury in Secret Wars, she always has been. Like a love/hate/respect relationship
"That may actually be the problem." This is fascinating, I'm actually seeing a bit of TV show Loki in this moment. Anyone who complains the movie doesn't seem to match the show should watch this scene.
There are two types of people who complain the show doesn't match past Loki. The ones who liked Loki in Thor 1 and haven't gotten that Loki since, and those who like Loki in Avengers as a villain. I say both are very unconvincable that the show is a continuation of past Loki cause there has been zero continuity in the character and old arcs are decimated each new movie. A line from mind controlled Loki won't exactly prove anything with how much is missing.
Honeslty Cap's back story with the waitress should have been kept in !!! It was so amazing and now we see why the waitress was shockdd and interested in Captain America without his face mask on during the battle, because she thinks he's a regular average man dining and could care less about Iron-Man, but she sees he is fighting alongside Iron-Man as an Avenger, and she now knows that "Oh shit this whole time I was serving CAPTAIN AMERICA !?!?!" Like she has that Ohhh what face during the battle... Always wondered why.... Now I know.
cap reuniting with the world and the waitress interactions (not all her scenes, since they kinda cut the action during the final battle), bruce's conversation with the old man and loki interacting with his crew, the tesseract and the other were necessary for the character arcs of those three. idk why they would cut that, along with some of the extended action scenes, they are nice. and just everytime i look at these scenes, i just think that joss whedon shouldn't have directed this movie. he's just a bad director, and the movie only is visually interesting when it comes to the fight scenes. and some are a mess, like thor vs loki in top of the stark tower. the conversations between loki and the other feel like a CW production. i know, it's cuz the CGI isn't finished, but the shots and how they used the camera just gaves those vibes. jon favreau, tim miller or doug liman should have directed this movie.
I think here they were going to set up Hill as a future antagonist, something similar or exactly like her role in the Civil War comic books. Would have been more interesting and kept her character in Phase 3 anyways.
Obviously not. Those scenes only show that she was a by-the-book kind of character, only to be influenced by Fury and the Avengers. That last scene of her shows she became a supporter of the team.
It also shows that Clint was the one who came up with the entire Germany plan, as well as the plan for the attack on the helicarrier. Loki barely had a plan and had to completely rely on the sniper for the chance of winning and making everything happen.
I would have loved to see these scenes added back in (properly finished of course). The waitress finding the metal remains of previous victims was pretty chilling.
I loved the parts with the locals and chitauri it feels more realistic like the heroes are doing what they can but people are just trying to survive AND dying. Its more impactful.
I'm sorry I cackled when Bruce failed to jump into Tony's car, the way he fell tho, Also someone should put these scenes into the move, if marvel won't do it we should
They need to edit this movie next time they release it in theaters and include the scenes of Loki speaking with The Other during the Battle of New York.
Don’t know if anyone else noticed that at 17:00 the man holding the alien weapon is agent Sousa who is Peggy carter SSR partner he appears in season 1 and 2 of Agent Carter and season 7 of Agents of Shield
All these deleted scenes are amazing and should have been left in especially the Maria Hill opening and ending. I always felt her character in the MCU didn’t really stand out amongst the other female heroes but not only does her conversation with the council add a lot to her character but it makes a badass opening and ending that really sets up the avengers as almost mythical in their status.
with disney plus , i feel like they could put out "altered" versions for alot of the mcu movies for the fans who want to see more in their rewatch with edits and such and maybe even fix some things that are needed like continuity errors and such
The scenes with Steve are so important to his character adjusting to this new world, a world he doesn't fit in at all, and I'm so sad they didn't innclude it in any of the movies :/
I would LOVE to see Extended versions of every single Marvel movie where all of these deleted scenes are added back in to give us longer movies. Even if they say these disrupt the pacing, someone like me still enjoys them & wishes they were there.
Cap's scenes if added would have made more sense as it would have given glimpse into how lonely he is. He just woke up and was pushed from one war into another
"Trust the system." - this mantra, according to hill in this video a guiding principle in the training of shield agents, came from hydra. nick fury didnt trust in the system this time, and he built a team that saved the world. phil coulson stopped trusting the system, and essentially did the same. i know its probably just coincidence that this lines up so perfectly, but it is fitting.
I guess they didn't include the scenes from Maria Hill snitching Fury is because they wanted to show the audience that Maria was supposed to be loyal to Fury regardless of what he decides.
5:50 Wow, he knows how to draw, huh? 14:32 Gasp! D: My life has been a lie :'( I wonder how they correct the lights in scenes like Thor ones (when it's clear they're not in the scenary, etc.) and then the edition of the complete computer scenes such as the IM ones... Also, the hits... are they really that harsh? It seems hurtful every time they fall O.O''' I'd have love to save Steve knowing of Howard's death and his connection with Tony (here, I mean, of course he still knows in the actual film, but this is a nice touch), the fight of our 2 spies (my favourite fighting style till this day, along with Steve's shield serving as a weapon). The police with the alien gun is funny, but not necessary, as the rest of them. 17:34 Isn't that the girl that has a crush on Tobey Maguire's Spiderman?? His neighbour? :0 22:26 😂😂 Love RDJ, but love Bruce trying to do the same as Tony and failing lmao. Dorks

With the exception of some parts of deleted intro(because that makes it seem like a lot of people including Iron Man have died, which we all know isn't true, maybe just cut those parts out), I feel like a lot of these scenes should not have been cut, they make the story; so much more cohesive and set-up the payoffs.
Hey do you and or anyone reading this have access to the Phase Two Box Set Exclusive Deleted Scenes like you do for the Assemble Box Set Exclusive Deleted Scenes here ? :)
