I absolutely love Loki 2. I'm binging on reactions, analysis or just everything, as I can't wait for the last episode. I feel like I won a lottery: Loki is my favourite character, I've always loved multiversum / time travel motifs and the quality of the series is fantastic. I don't rememer the last time I was so hyped. First Iron-Man maybe?

Ke Huy Quan left the acting industry years ago, but following the success of Crazy Rich Asians he reached out to a talent agent and auditioned for Everything Everywhere All At Once. His Goonies co-star and longtime friend Jeff Cohen who’s now an entertainment lawyer helped negotiate his contract to star in the film. Then after seeing his role as Waymond Wang, Kevin Feige reached out to him with the role of O.B. He’s also had a supporting role in the Netflix movie Finding ‘Ohana, and he got to work with some of his Everything Everywhere All At Once co-stars again in the Disney Plus series American Born Chinese. On another note, remember Maya Lopez from Hawkeye? Her solo series Echo is finally premiering on Wednesday January 10. All episodes will drop that day, but I must warn you: it’s gonna be TV-MA like the Marvel Netflix shows that most of us are familiar with.

Loki, 2x2: This was a fantastic episode. The design of the Loki Season 2 set is stunning. The show's creators did a fantastic job of creating a visually immersive world that is both futuristic and retro. The cinematography in the episode is also superb. The use of light and shadow is particularly effective, and the camera work is always dynamic and engaging. I also enjoyed the interactions between Casey and OB. Their chemistry is excellent, and their scenes together are some of the most lighthearted and humorous in the episode. It's great that the show has some fun, and Casey and OB's scenes provide a welcome relief from the tension and suspense of the rest of the episode. In the case of Loki 2x2, the nostalgic appeal of McDonald's food may have been influential, as the episode featured scenes set in a 1980s McDonald's restaurant. The bright colors, familiar packaging, and close-up shots of the food would have been incredibly effective in triggering cravings. Additionally, the sense of comfort and happiness often associated with McDonald's food may have been amplified by the episode's overall tone of nostalgia and longing. So, it's understandable that you might have found yourself craving McDonald's food after watching the episode. The combination of Miss Minutes and Ravonna Renslayer could be a formidable force. Miss Minutes's vast knowledge and access to information, coupled with Ravonna's unwavering determination and strategic brilliance, could be a powerful combination. The scene in which Loki interrogates Brad Wolfe/X-5 was indeed quite compelling. It provided a glimpse into the complex nature of the TVA and the lengths to which its agents are willing to go to maintain the Sacred Timeline. The revelation that Brad Wolfe, an actor who played a serial murderer in the comics, was actually a variant of a TVA agent was a clever twist that added to the overall intrigue of the episode. The exploration of Mobius's life before the TVA abducted him is an aspect I'm particularly interested in seeing further developed in the season. The character of Mobius has proven to be one of the most engaging in the series, and his backstory is shrouded in mystery. Learning more about his past could provide valuable insights into his motivations and current role within the TVA. The conversation between Mobius and Brad Wolfe in the 1982 McDonald's was a highlight of the episode. It allowed for some much-needed fun amidst the tension and suspense of the narrative, and it also provided some interesting character development for both Mobius and Brad Wolfe. The scene in which Loki interrogates Brad Wolfe/X-5 was indeed quite compelling. It's here that Loki calls back to the past, where his own rage got the better of him. He notably brings up how mad he was with his brother and father, so much so that he led an alien invasion to take over Earth, as seen in the first Avengers movie. Loki's confession about throwing Tony Stark out of the window is a significant moment of self-reflection that reveals his volatile nature and the destructive potential of unchecked rage. It adds depth to his character and provides a deeper understanding of his motivations and actions. "It wasn't tactical". Finally, the scene in which Loki confronts X-5 and displays several legendary abilities is visually impressive and narratively significant. It showcased Loki's immense power and ability to adapt and improvise in challenging situations.

Baldur is the god whose death ended it all. He was beloved by everyone. Frigg went through all the worlds and made everything promise not to harm Baldur. She skipped the mistletoe. Loki (you heard of him?) learned about this. He got a sprig of mistletoe and arranged to have it thrown at Baldr. It was fatal. Baldur's death was part of the prediction of the end of the world and gods: Ragnarok. This was the end of the gods's tolerance of Loki. He was chained forever underground with dragon dripping venom in his face. Baldur may have come from tales from far to south of Jesus.

Loki 2x1: Great first episode. The visual similarities between Loki's time-slipping and the glitching experienced by Spider-people in the Spider-Verse films are striking. Both characters undergo abrupt and involuntary transitions between different realities, and their physical forms exhibit disruptions that reflect the instability of their surroundings. The similarities between these visual effects suggest a common theme of dimensional unrest and the challenges of crossing between different realities. Loki and the Spider-people are characters who are out of place, grappling with the consequences of being in the wrong universe. The visual representations of their experiences underscore the disruptive nature of interdimensional travel and the inherent risks involved in venturing into unfamiliar realms. Loki leaps from a TVA window and lands on a yellow flying mail truck. It referenced a scene in Luc Besson's surreal sci-fi film The Fifth Element in which Milla Jovovich's Leelo performs the same thing and arrives in Bruce Willis' yellow flying taxicab. That's an interesting observation. It's certainly possible that the Loki writers were referencing The Fifth Element with that scene. Both films are set in futuristic worlds with a blend of science fiction and fantasy elements, and both feature characters who are transported from one place to another suddenly and unexpectedly. The Fifth Element is a cult classic known for its visually striking and imaginative world-building. It's possible that the Loki writers wanted to pay homage to the film with the yellow flying mail truck scene. Or, likely, they were using a similar visual motif to convey the idea of time travel and transportation between different worlds. Ke Huy Quan's performance as OB in Loki season 2, episode 1, was memorable. The character's friendly demeanor and quirky personality made him a standout in an episode filled with complex and enigmatic figures. OB's knowledge and expertise regarding the TVA's inner workings provided valuable insights into the organization's operations and its role in maintaining the timeline. OB's interactions with Loki added a touch of humor and lightheartedness to the narrative, providing a welcome contrast to the tense and suspenseful atmosphere. His willingness to assist Loki, despite his initial apprehension, demonstrated his inherent kindness and desire to help others. Ultimately, the identity of the person who pruned Loki remains a mystery. However, the various theories offer plausible explanations for who it might have been, and they provide a deeper understanding of the motivations and conflicts within the TVA. In the post-credits scene, Sylvia escapes to the fictional town of Broxton, Oklahoma, in 1982. According to the comics, Broxton was the city in which New Asgard was established following the destruction of Thor's home planet during Ragnarok, instead of Norway as in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Loki, 2x3: What a fantastic episode this was. I had a lot of fun watching it. The inspiration from Frederick Douglass for Victor Timely's appearance adds a layer of historical significance to the character and highlights the show's attention to detail. Timely's presence in the episode served as a reminder of the power of innovation and the impact of individuals on society. Miss Minutes's cartoonish visual effects were a delightful addition to the episode, adding a touch of whimsy and humor to the narrative. Her jealousy towards Ravonna Renslayer injected an element of personal conflict into the story and hinted at Miss Minutes's hidden motivations. Including Balder the Brave in the MCU would be an exciting prospect, as he is a beloved character with a rich history in the comics. His introduction could open up new avenues for storytelling and expand the scope of the MCU's mythological elements. The old-school rendition of the MCU opener was a nostalgic touch that paid homage to the franchise's roots and reminded viewers of its evolution. It served as a bridge between the past and present, connecting the current narrative to the MCU's broader legacy. The revelation of Miss Minutes's desire for a physical body and her affection for He Who Remains was an intriguing plot twist. It added a layer of complexity to her character and highlighted her humanity despite her artificial nature. Her declaration of love for He Who Remains, particularly in the context of his various personas and the power dynamics between them, added an element of unsettling tension to the narrative. Miss Minutes's access to He Who Remains's secrets is a frightening prospect, as it suggests that she possesses knowledge that could have far-reaching consequences for the multiverse. Her awareness of He Who Remains's true nature, and his plans could pose a significant threat to the TVA and the stability of the timeline. The sight of He Who Remains's lifeless body at the Citadel at the End of Time was a sad and thought-provoking moment. It served as a stark reminder of the consequences of his actions and the fragility of existence in the face of infinite possibilities. The scene also raised questions about the future of the TVA and the multiverse in the aftermath of He Who Remains's death. The episode's exploration of Miss Minutes's origins was indeed a fascinating aspect of the narrative. It provided insights into her creation and the motivations behind her programming. This backstory added depth to her character and made her more relatable despite her artificial nature. The incorporation of old-time music throughout the episode added a nostalgic atmosphere and complemented the historical setting of the story. The music helped transport viewers and immerse them in Victor Timely and the Chicago World's Fair. The presence of Asian symbols in Victor Timely's laboratory is an intriguing detail that could potentially hint at a connection to Shang-Chi's rings. While the specific meaning of the symbols remains to be determined, they could represent a link to ancient civilizations or possess hidden powers. The use of Loki's abilities in this episode was both visually impressive and narratively significant. It showcased his adaptability, resourcefulness, and mastery of his powers, even in unfamiliar and challenging situations. The way he utilized his abilities to outsmart and manipulate others demonstrated his cunning and strategic thinking. The inclusion of an exhibit depicting ancient Egyptian culture during the chase scene at the Chicago World's Fair is a subtle homage to Rama-Tut, an alternate version of Kang the Conqueror who was associated with ancient Egypt in the comics. This reference serves as a reminder of the vastness of the MCU and the interconnectedness of its various characters and storylines. The revelation that Ravonna Renslayer and Miss Minutes are carrying out He Who Remains' plan adds depth and complexity to the narrative of Loki season 2. It suggests that their actions, while seemingly motivated by their devotion to the TVA and the Sacred Timeline, are ultimately serving He Who Remains's own agenda. Overall, the revelation that Ravonna Renslayer and Miss Minutes are carrying out He Who Remains' plan adds intrigue and complexity to Loki season 2. It highlights the interconnectedness of the characters and the underlying forces that shape their actions. The antique camera shots were a well-executed and effective storytelling device in Loki 2x3. They helped to create a sense of history, mystery, and suspense, and they enhanced the overall visual impact of the episode. Victor Timely's interactions with the various characters in this episode were a masterclass in character development and storytelling. They showcased his multifaceted personality, his intellectual prowess, and his ability to influence those around him. He was a captivating presence that enriched the narrative and left a lasting impression on the audience.

Your dreams are so tiny, so faint, so much the product of a being with a puny little soul that you can't envision anything more ambitious than having some overprepared quippy comeback with that fay theater kid vocal affectation they all use. That's how small your dreams have been rendered by a diet of baby food like this.
