Saurabh Dwivedi, Chief Editor of Lallantop interviewed Loksabha Speaker Om Birla on completing three years on the chair. Om Birla told stories about his early friends and rivals. How he came into politics and defeated the well-settled politician and congress leader Shanti Dhariwal. Om Birla tells about his complete journey from his early childhood when he first told about his political ambitions to his family to the speaker of Loksabha. How he joined BJP and became a member of parliament is all in here.

बहुत ही अच्छा साक्षात्कार👍 ओम बिड़ला जी ने लोकसभा के सभापति के रूप में बहुत ही निपुणता से कार्य किया है जैसे बहुत वरिष्ठ सांसद हों। कई कीर्तिमान साथापित किए हैं। एक बार इनके साथ अजमेर से दिल्ली तक रेल में सफ़र करने का अवसर मिला और बहुत विषयों पर बात हुई। Very successful. Good wishes to him.🙏🙏

These are not accidental misses. Mr. Dwivedi goes soft on the ruling party's leaders very often in his interviews. The Yogi ji interview was a bit of a farce. The interview with Sh. Om Birla was extremely tepid as well. No difficult questions, not enough probing about how bills are being passed with no internal democracy in the House.

Another missed opportunity...i watch lallantop on daily bases ...like it a lot and the kind of journalism they do is very good for me ...not chosing a side always keeping the information first...no opinion...its very good....but i always get disappointed with the interviews....becoz when it comes to interview it seems like the interview is about the NETA...what neta wants to tell people ... i miss tough questions....i mean communalism is a Unspoken fact of BJP....but yet there are no questions and queries about that to any BJP leader or anyone else ...no questions on Agniveer yojna which burnt the country...it looks like its a "Man ki Bat" for neta or a " Introduction to Neta ji " rather than a Proper interview with good and amazing questions....no hard feelings....but interviews are disappointing .... regular content is amazing and important

@@anandsengar6602 Aapki buddhi khud bhrast hai. The Speaker is an elected member of the house who belongs to the ruling legislative party. They are expected to act independently when dispensing their functions as speaker but they do not stop being a part of their original political party. Gyan tab hi choda kariye jab khud jaankari ho - aise darpok interview dekhne ki aadat nahi hai qayi logon ko.

Those who have doubt ke om Birla ki Beti upsc clear kaise ki the answer is by hardwork and study.. I am not a core BJP follower but still there is very very low corruption in UPSC if any politician wanted his or her daughter of son to become a civil servant then why this is one of the first case why not always that a leader daughter of son is always IAS or IPS... AND IN LAST POLITICS IS WAY MORE PROFITABLE AND POWERFUL THAN IAS AND IPS..So if he has that much reach to a appoint daughter in IAS and IPS then why not he bring his son or daughter in politics he will surely do this..

Saurabh failed his audience by not asking the difficult questions Like he should compare the data of previous government of time given to discuss the bill and how many bills were sent to standing committee. I observe saurabh is not comfortable in asking difficult questions to the bjp mp or minister or cm. While he asked difficult questions to opposition. Please clarify this in next segment saurabh as we as lallatop audience feel cheated if not provided knowledgeable content on this. BJP doesn't make lallantop we made it.

Just like President has a constitutional position we don't question the president much, but Prime Minister we can because he's the one with decision making powers. Same with him he's the chair now all he's responsible is to maintain that, if everyone starts questioning the chair then there will be no trust and parliament will never ever proceed. But have you heard opposition protesting or questioning the chair? that's why.

Somnath Chatterjee is best example. Once LS speaker he went against his own party CPIM as Speaker must repect the chair and not the party they come from.Somnath Chatterjee is an institution who stood with India against his own party CPIM and was expelled by the CPIM.. He was independent from 2008 till his death in 2018. SALUTE Somnathji.No one has stature of Somnathji.

Craven attitude during the interview. It's nice to see Saurabh ji tackle Rajdeep when the latter defends older UPA policies/statements. It's also interesting to see Saurabh ji make fun of the Congress, say that Rahul Gandhi is a spent force on Netanagri. However, it's not nice to see him interact like this with the current dispensation. No incisive questions, no critical comments.

It's because the person sitting in front of him is at present at a constitutional position. There is some level of respect and dignity that has to be shown towards the chair. Just like the person sitting in chair also needs to take balanced position in their working.

They are public representatives, chosen by direct-vote who should be cross-questioned accordingly. Simply saying someone is a 'constitutional functionary' doesn't mean anything. Look up how such 'constitutional functionaries' are interviewed in other democracies. Look at how Boris Johnson is cornered in the UK, how Trump was interviewed by Jonathan Swann.

Just an advise to Saurabh Ji, these kind of interviews are good when there are artists, athletes, scientists etc, not when there are politicians. Politicians care about nobody....they won't accept any atrocities under their rule, they are the most inhumane breed of humans possible. Disappointed with Lallantop, when the interview politicians it looks like they have lost their notes......

Lallantop is becoming another typical TV news company. Devoid of counter-questions and with no representation of valid opposing views, it is becoming a PR stage of netas (albeit of different parties). I admit watching political journies of netas is exciting and motivating but if that’s the agenda of your every political interview, then this is not journalism. Your interviews have started reminding me of Akshay Kumar’s interview of Narendra Modi. The same concern was raised in one of your previous interviews and it was a surprise (pleasant one) then when I saw your response video admitting that you’d probe and be critical in the upcoming interviews but I haven’t seen that in action yet. Finally unsubscribed. Hope to see the critical and logical Saurabh Dwivedi again. #dontneedmasalabutjournalism
