LOL! Season 4 Tank Tier List in M+ 

Whenever prot warrior is good, it gets nerfed IMMEDIATELY. When DH is good, its ALWAYS good.

Its just bad for the game that DH has been so good for so long. I hope that changes in War Within.

TLF baby! I have been playing prot warrior recently and find it god like. Feels really solid, and when i heal on my evoker at 2700ish prot warr feels great vs the sea of DH that are not played properly

BM probably needs a more specified group, like a cleave group not just a full aoe group. So they can do smaller pulls but dps arent lagging cause they need the big pulls

I don't want VDH to get any worse or even nerfed at all... I just want the rest of the tanks to get better.. The game needs more tanks and healers and if one is doing well they need to make the rest do better instead of hammering the good one so even less people play.

Just sad that tank as a role seems to have a fun tax. Want fun? Subpar tank. Wanna tank? Dull tank ( i havent really ever gelled with vdh, love the theme though)

Pugs are even worse. Anything 12+ Fortified as an off meta tank is brutal because I believe DPS are so used to VDH's being able to handle kicks. 30+ kicks and probably 25+ additional stops on my warrior, 5 on each DPS. 25+ deaths.

Crazy idea .. instead of nerfing DH why not just buff or rework the other tanks?

Usually you are very... forgiging in your rating but fully agree with that picture - It is not that the other tanks are bad - but Vengence is just this much better in comparison....

The thing is: the solution is not just (just) nerfing vdh, but rather buffing the other tanks to be better on a general scale.

i just hope blizzard doesnt nerf vdh and buff every tank at his own. -for example the actuall small reworks what bdk got are great, but still too weak. i mean 4 seconds longer d&d effects after running out! let gorefiend a 1 minute cd with the additional node to 30 or 45 seconds, give them 5% more dmg reduce and more armor with bonearmor and we would be fucking awesome. -prot warrior got some nice changes too with 5% less magic damage and stance changes. but give him 1 minute cd on spell block and 2 charges of reflect. maybe something like barbar of d3 to grip some adds with chains to him. would make him to a really good tank. -guardian is on a good state and maybe some changes on thrash to be insta like back in shadowlands while incarn. maybe galactic guardian or twin moon as core would be a great additional for him and makes it easier to play. -prot Paladin was in shadowlands on really good state back then but one change let me stop playing him after release of dragonflight: no holy power with avengers shield and bad healing with word of glory. give him this back and maybe 5%-7% overall dmg. shield of righteous from 4s to 6s are great too.

dh has been great since they came out. blizz loves them so much. and i hate how brew has the weakest health of all bc i love playing my monk, maybe one day we wil get a buff. maybe that time will come when aug goes to tank like it was supposed to be

demon hunter made a very bad first impression on me due to it being OP. if it were mid, I bet it would be a lot of fun. but no, the meta slaves love it which hints at the cancer it has become. largely what the meta means to common people is that we will have more of a certain color played poorly yet it's nearly a universal requirement that you must conform even though you probably play some other class way better. meta will never replace ability to play XYZ class, I hope more people get their priorities straight but I feel many crave free power for little effort rather than success at their class... only depending on an ideal meta rather than themselves & the other 4 + people in their group.

Just put demon hunter at top and brewmaster at bottom, then spread the rest evenly in one roll should be fairly accurate

My main has always been my hunter. But then I change to tank or healer to get into groups. My pala was always my favourite tank...... But..... Everyone now wants a DH. I've been tanking with it for a week now, I get why it's the present fave but I think the other tank classes need a boost to be competitive tanks. I miss my pala. I need to find or form a group for m+ keys. So sick of pugs at this point that I'm thinking of quitting the game. I've played since release. I'm on Wildhammer server. Alliance.

As a blood main, it’s strange because it isn’t like my spec feels bad. It just makes it even more absurd how VDH is somehow so much better than my spec is. I always try to take mistweaver when I can. The huge bubble on pull makes blood feel completely invincible. They also are forced to do dps, so they can help me supplement in the lower damage department.

Speaking as a DH tank since S3 of shadowlands this actually makes me happy. Thanks for the list though, been debating on an ALT tank for the season and this really helps.

DH will stay at the top regardless of the parry stuff until they take away double sigil. It makes the most dangerous parts of dungeons laughable between grip, silence and fear.

very bad call by blizzard - this game always had a tank shortage in dungeons for many reasons but the main one beeing: stress. stress by beeing the one person in the group that is not ever reacting, but constantly acting. Routes? Tank. Pacing? Tank. Calls? Tank. Inconvenient Patrols and Mispulls? Tank. And now while in the expansion that relies on stops in m+ like no other before, all of the sudden 1 tank is gifted a toolkit so massive, that all players just expect tanks to solve interrupts and stops on their own, BRILLANT. The fix is not bringing all the Tanks up to VDH Level. The fix is to reverse the whole direction where this is heading for tanks.

Its annoying DHs need to be nerfed down. I hate playing them. Prot pally and warrior are what i like. And prot warrior seems to keep getting forgotten about. 😢

God fckin dammit, blizzard can you actually start testing your game before you release something (btw this would be easily fixed by capping mythic keystones to be +15 ish the highest dungeon but it doesnt matter, cuz blizzard is known for not solving simple issues in time)

All tanks are viable but the Meta hasn’t changed in many years. Demon Hunters far and away the best. Guardian Druids a distant second. Everyone else pretty much on par. I can’t remember a time this wasn’t the case.

If ur a dk and u die to blazing slash, either you didn’t plan ur cd accordingly or u pulled too many or your just bad… ams negates that shit… so…. Very bad video… totally don’t agree to everything outside the ranking of dh

Game has been the same since legion even class balance there has been an odd class here and there but not much you have VDH - Fire Mage - Lock Spec - Buff Spec ( now even more so with Aug ) - Then Resto Druid or Disc priest I honestly don't see how anyone is still playing this crap.
