You're right, people honestly dismiss Lol OMG purely by the face and design of the doll. But in reality they single handedly upped the doll market with their amazing designs and pushed the boundaries of 'normality' in the same regards Bratz and Monster High did. It showed us that high quality dolls can be mass retail made without having to rely on collector's and what not. It paved the way for Rainbow High, Barbie Extra, Mermaze, and perhaps even the reboot Monster High but people don't give it credit because of their designs. I love OMG and especially their tweens line. Sure the design takes time to get used to but once it does, it really hits right. I especially can't wait for Max Wonder to be available in my stores since this is a boy figure that's just casually breaking gender stereotypes with him wearing a skirt, no problem and looks absolutely finnessed af while doing it! No ceremony about it, MGA just did this so casually but no toots about it in the doll community at least that I'm aware of. Lol sorry that big comment. Love the chemistry between all of y'all 💕 and thanks for reaffirming my choice to get him!

Aww Max is just SO adorable! I love all of his details and the cute bunny details. I really like his mask, reminds me of Tuxedo Mask from Sailor Moon. None of my local stores have this Tween line, I really want them all!

I'm not super into the dolls community and that part about the omg dolls not being a big deal was surprising. I have been collecting dolls though since way before reviews like this were a thing. I always found the quality of these dolls to be excellent, like way better the monster high dolls that fell apart and many had weird hair that was kind of almost sticky. Like I missed brat dolls and then I found these. Max is the only boy doll I've ever gotten! He's adorable!

When LOL came out I hated them so much bc I hate blind bags, but looking back you’re right about it really saving the doll community so maybe the blind bags are a necessary evil 😂 I like the OMG way better than the original tots but they’re still not really my style. I think the heads and eyes feel like giant baby heads on adult bodies. However dolls like cleopatra that have the more hooded eyes instead of the completely open round eyes avoid looking as baby like to me, so if I were to get an OMG it would have that eye style. Either way they deserve more credit, but it feels like with many things ppl won’t start to really care about the line that way until it’s discontinued
