Your best video yet, guys. Some really great shots, the film suited your subjects perfectly. The Bleach Bypass look lends itself to the gritty backstreets and brutalist architecture of large cities. Josh even taking street photography - Well done, Man 👍 That is a nice camera Tom, have you had it long? Good review at the end too, very fair I thought. Looking forward to the next one now. George
Hey George! Thank you, we worked really hard on this one and I'm super proud of how it turned out 🙂 I couldn't agree more! It was the perfect setting for metropolis! Looking forward to shooting another roll now we know more about the emulsion. Appreciate you noticing my street photography as well! I'm working away at it 😁 I've let so many good photos slip from not being brave enough and thats pushed me to really getting into it now! Toms camera is a beauty, it's passed through both of our collections, me and Tom are always trading gear 😂 Toms definitely more of a rangefinder guy and he loves it so I'm glad it's back in his possession. Thanks for the feedback, we know it was a long one but there was a lot to go over. We've got a few more lines up so watch this space 😉 Great to hear from you as always! J&T
100%!!! I haven't been myself but I can only imagine the vibe it would create ☺️ Maybe give it a try 👌 do let us see them if you do ☺️ Thank you for your comment and taking the time to watch! Stay safe, happy shooting Josh & Tom ✌️
Thank you so much! It definitely gives an eerie and sad mood. I often like to see sadness in a photography story and this film captures that perfectly. Really appreciate you watching and commenting! Stay safe, happy shooting!
*David Attenborough voice* : "And here we see the wild, London photography Karen, hunting her prey by the bridge", Lol! Good on you lads. You dealt with her the right way, by just avoiding overreacting. Fair play. Loved this video. Liking that film also, much better than my bog standard Fuji 200 I use. Haha!
😂😂 I'm a sucker for a David Attenborough impression and I read this in his voice!! Brilliant! Unfortunately in a world seemingly full of Karen's these days I did the best I could to keep my cool! I'm not a fan of confrontation as it is so could only point out the obvious. The swimmer said he couldn't care less anyway as she stormed off 😂😂 Thanks for your kind words! The film is great if you want to try something a little different, really makes for some moody photos 👌 Tom is a sucker for Fuji 200 so I'm sure you'll have a lot in common 🙂
@@OnlyAnalogue Exact same, not one for confrontation at all. Had someone start on me twice for shooting around town, one was spouting conspiracy nonsense but I pretended not to hear while wearing earphones. 😆 Funny how no one bats an eyelid at you for taking pics with a phone but one sight of an actual camera and they go crazy. 😆 She seemed just like someone looking to take life's stresses out in anyone she could, best avoided, like most of her ilk. That film looks good alright. I'm new to black and white so it interests me! Cheers! 😎👍
This was definitely a fun one for us! London always provides some awesome compositions ☺️ Definitely... just grab a camera and head out. I'm sure the more impromptu photo walks make for the best photos ☺️ thanks for taking the time to watch and comment, we really appreciate it! J&T
Interesting how your results were very much leaning toward blue and very cool. Some other people end up with a leaning towards brown/sepia. The film is variable depending on quality of light. I like the differences between shooting at 100 vs 400 ISO. 200 is too much of a compromise to me. I am liking '92, because it has some similarities with Metropolis, but is not as extreme, and so it is easier to work with. There is another interesting aspect to these Lomography films. Both '92 and Metropolis (but especially Metropolis) exhibit different characters on different formats. I particularly like Metropolis on 110 format. It doesn't seem to be as blue as it gets on 120. Sadly, Metropolis and '92 are the only film stocks available in 120, 135, and 110 formats. The results make me wish Lomography would relaese other films in 110 format, like another of the B&W films, Lady Grey, Potsdam, and Berlin, and Color Negative 400.
Well now Marriott's has closed down fella we have to drive to Folkstone to a photo shop that is in very high regard niks and tricks we develop our own black and white there is a place in rye but it's about 15 pound a roll Dev and Tiffs file which will be used in emergency hope this helps kind regards tom ☮️♥️🎞️
