Lomography Purple is a really fun film to play with. Blues becomes green, greens become purple and yellows become pink! Red tones stay red though, which keeps skin tones looking natural in a sea of trippy hues.

I heard that if you put on a yellow filter with this film, it'll give you aerochrome colors.

Lomochrome Purple is soooo cool! I think the sky looks super sick in all these photos! I still haven't shot this film on my channel and I think it's about time I change that

The shot at 3:25 is definitely my favorite from this roll. Do you remember if it was more on the over-exposed side or under-exposed/400 ISO side? I can never get those rich deep purples like that. My shots are usually flat or almost blue/grey :(

The film is purely experimental and its fun to use outside of the normal portra route. I’ve used it and skin tones came out purple as well. Wouldn’t complain because I’m not using it for serious compositions. But this film would be really cool to try in South America with the lush greens.

Great fun to watch! Thanks, now I am sure I will never spend any money 💰 on this film. 😇 😉 I love finding out what’s on the market, so I can make better calculated guesses. What I missed was that I didn’t see what the same image would have looked like at various exposures. When I lived in New England, I once Used a Rollei film that was supposed to produce infrared like pictures if overexposed. The spectacular colors in the fall turned out more or less the same. I didn’t include any wishes, so the equipment of The Darkroom automatically « corrected » each image. Are you going to do videos like this one? I hope so. Stay safe!

Hey Robert. Thanks for the feedback and comment. Yeah, with labs when we're testing film, we have to tell them specifically not to try to correct the exposures when we're trying to show the various exposure differences. And for the video - are you asking/suggesting we do a video like this one but show what the film does at different ISO ratings? Like with this Purple, it is supposed to have different color shifts at the different exposures. That would be a cool comparison.

So, I actually shot a wedding styled shoot with this stuff. I shot on 35mm, but have used 120 in the past, much better at 120.
