Well conservative or not the bible is pretty clear, Christians can't abide the tarot or magic for that matter or rather are not allowed to do so regardless of the intent. In short most of us here are f..-,-.-.,-.-,.d One of the reasons i do not often use a RWS deck is simply because i feel Waite was a bit to much of a christian when compared to the other GD members. As in he was forcing it's imagery and allegory into the deck with the subtlety of a 10megaton hammer where it was not appropriate or relevant. If it was for commercial reasons or religious reasons i don't know but it was to the detriment of readability and symbolism i feel.
