Yet another great video! The 607 was a very frequent bus I took when travelling to/and from work, and generally between Ealing Bdy, Ealing Common, West Ealing. @14:48 is where I used to live for a short while, somewhere above SarasaS (on the left). @31:32 somewhere there on the right there used to be a great guitar shop "The Flying Pig", but I think it's long gone, very long gone. @35:23 on the left, there used to be a wonderful toys and models shop, called Beatties (Beatties of London Limited). @35:50 long before Iceland, there was a W.H. Smith shop :) @38:27 and there on there right, there used to be a delicious Bombay Tandoori restaurant @39:59 FilmWorks on the right - once a UGC Cinema, I think the last movie I saw there was The Titanic in 1997 - it's amazing how they have changed a cinema venue into a leisure and living place. @40:11 before the Pho Vietnamese food, there was Poco Loco (Italian style) food - I've spent there many many lunches :) @41:50 I will mention this once again :) - HMV music store (I think there were two floors) in place of McD/TK Maxx. But that was back in the 90s. Even I do remember when they have opened McD over there. And right the opposite M&S, it's still there as it was 30 years ago or even more :) @43:25 on the left, at this very corner, there was a two floor pub, with great atmosphere and music @47:16 and the very first Nando's restaurant in the UK! It opened in 1993 I think. It was such a great place to work at :) So, anyone else remembers those places I've mentioned? :)

Thank you so much for sharing those nostalgic memories! It's incredible how places evolve over the years. Let's dive into your comments: 1. **607 Bus Route Memories:** It's amazing how public transport can become such a familiar part of our daily routines. Did you have any particular fond memories from your rides on the 607? 2. **SarasaS and The Flying Pig:** Living above SarasaS and recalling The Flying Pig guitar shop adds a personal touch to the video. Do you miss having a guitar shop nearby, or have you found a new favorite spot for musical pursuits? 3. **Beatties of London Limited:** It's always sad when beloved shops like Beatties close down. Any favorite toys or models you used to get from there? 4. **W.H. Smith and Cinematic Memories:** The mention of W.H. Smith and the cinema where you saw Titanic brings back memories. Do you still visit cinemas often, or has your movie-watching experience shifted over the years? 5. **Bombay Tandoori and FilmWorks:** A delicious restaurant and a cinema-turned-leisure spot - the transformation is fascinating! What other changes in the area have caught your attention? 6. **Poco Loco and HMV:** Italian lunches at Poco Loco and the music-filled days at HMV sound like cherished moments. Any specific albums or movies you recall purchasing from HMV? 7. **McD, TK Maxx, and M&S:** The evolution of eateries and stores, especially the first Nando's in the UK, must hold a special place in your memories. Do you still frequent any of these places? 8. **Two-floor Pub and Nando's:** The two-floor pub and the first Nando's in the UK must have seen so many stories. What was your favorite memory from working at Nando's, and have you found a new go-to pub since then? Thanks again for sharing these detailed recollections. It's like taking a trip down memory lane with you!

@@LondonBusRider 1. as for 607 memories? The only one I could think of, when finishing my work late (Nando's at Ealing Common) I used to take the Night bus already. And sometimes I missed a few of them (I think they ran every 30min or so) because we either had to finish up few things or we used to spend time talking after work (being still inside the restaurant). Sometimes the 607N used to come earlier than it should, so I had to wait for another one. But that wasn't a big deal as we used to have fun talking. 2. The Flying Pig - well it's something I used to do in the 90s, play a bit of guitar. I used to visit the shop every so often to have a look at those nice but expensive electric guitars. Flying Vs, Ibanez etc. 3. From Beatties I used to get some plastic models of planes and helicopters. Usually TAMIYA was the most common manufacturer/brand of plastic models. 4. Most often I used to go to Park Royal to watch the movies, as it had other places around like restaurants and bowling. In fact there was a bunch of us from Uni (TVU) that we used to hang out together. And we either went to the cinema or bowling, also at Park Royal. 5. None as of yet. I see that quite a few shops/places are still there, like the Kwik-Fit in West Ealing (Uxbridge Road / right on the corner). But I do not remember if it was called Kwik-Fit back then (1990s). Also I remember 7 Eleven at the corner of Uxbridge Rd. and Bind St. 6. From that HMV I purchased Judas Priest Metalworks '73-'93 2CD album, and Billy Idol's Cyberpunk :) - it's amazing how I still remember those little things that happened more than 25 yrs ago. 7. No as I no longer live in the UK. 8. There are loads of nice memories from working at Nando's. The people I used to work with, also many nice customers that used to come back to our place to enjoy their favourite meals. As for the pub, it must be The Grove, but I can't remember if it was called this way back then. That was the first time I've tried Strongbow's cider (and I loved it). Chips with melted cheddar cheese were great too :) I think I could spend hours and hours talking about various places I've been to, places I used to spend lots of time at. Some of those memories may only come back after seeing specific places, streets.
