I am a Norwegian royalist and I was kind of waiting for this day. On 11 September I embarked on my very first cruise from Copenhagen via Southampton to Spain. I was walking in Southampton on the Sunday and it was eerily quiet. Lots of memorial boards were up across the city and few people were in the streets. I was on an Italian ship and they had only two English channels on the tv. I would have watched a lot of the programs about the Queen at home, but I think I got a better version of the broadcast on the ship. HM Queen Elizabeth was revered not only in the UK and the (partly former) Commonwealth, but all over the world, and we all mourned with her family.

People treated me as if I was stupid for crying for her. My son and I were seeking housing that day. It came up on the screen at the Philadelphia Housing Authority Office Building. (I actually still have the paperwork). People laughed at me for crying about her, but I still have the pictures my Grandmother took of Buckingham Palace when she was in London for a trip. My Grandmother passed away on this date, and I cannot forget the call I got from my Uncle, because I was in New York with some friends to see the fireworks. My family was worried about me getting back home, but I made it. I felt that way when Queen Elizabeth passed away, and even have my letters from Buckingham Palace. I am American.

I remember watching the address crying my heart out when I was experiencing my first 17 hours as Queen Elizabeth III and Woody.EXE never left his Queens side during the week of the Queen’s death and that’s why I love him. 2 years into our reign and he’s still at my side as I continue to recover from the trauma of my illness in 2023 and I wouldn’t have been alive now if Woody.EXE hadn’t been here earlier

I dnt see ophrah lol and although i dnt knw her in person kinda payed a lot of attention to her family an i know all her ancestors lifes story back to norman day an probably a little beyond that i understand what they stand for theire values an tbh i think ur seing it wrong i think in that moment William asked megan an harty to join them would have made the quenn exceptionaly proud it ws everything she stood for unity in the face of tragedy especially unity of the monarchy cos its give us brits a sens of strength an shared purpose to try an be good fair an successful people that together take care of our country an defnd those less able than ourselves (ww2) i dnt matter about the rift to Elizabeth i think shed have been so proud of him an harry for doin so acting like adults y did evry1 find that difficult to believe or understand me an my sister did it at our grabs funeral hadnts seen each other in yrs an handt spoke but we acted like we ws best friends for that day its called respct for the dead

There is a code phrase for each of the senior royals to let members of the government know they’ve died- I presume it dates back to days when news was not disclosed as fast as now- it would have meant people did not know u til it could be officially announced with dignity and there are things like the continuation of the monarchy. The Queen is dead- Long Live the King. It’s immediate bug lots of people need to be ready to make Announcements etc

The Bible clearly states in marriage a man is to leave and cleave to his wife. If you want to be real honest. The disobedience was actually King Charles cheating on his wife, breaking the marital vows and cheating with a married woman ultimately destroying two marriages. Surely you don't have amnesia. Both Charles and Diana were not faithful in their marriage. I have not heard that about Prince Harry. If you don't agree with Harry marrying an interracial woman just say it, but calling Prince Harry disobedient because he honored his covenant of marriage is absolutely ridiculous.

South Africa wasn't a member of the Commonwealth during those years. They were kicked out in 1961, before Mandela was arrested because the other members did not agree with apartheid. They were reinstated in 1994, by which time Mandela was President.

It's technically historic reference points because there was fighting among the royals if even Harry could go up to Balmoral with Meghan while she was or probably already died. I've seen more than this in other specials, but like it or not, he's still in the royal line of succession at number 5 behind William and his heirs.
