I wish a lot more games had moments of where you're just quietly going, "oh shit oh shit oh shit," as you watch the stakes rise and the tension escalate. That is precisely what the construction of Mangle is, a threat that's slowly rising right in front of you so to speak, letting you watch as it manifests, making your eyes widen and damn the music helps as the pitch increases and increases with each animatronic added to the pile that is Mangle.
ESPECIALLY the fact that you _can't stop it from happening._ you're sitting there seeing this happen, having a panic attack, realising how much trouble you're actually in and you can't do anything about it!
I literally couldn't put into words how well you described the situation. The dread is no longer looming, it's growing right before your eyes, rising as you sit helpless without any possible chance of stopping it. Only having the slim possibility of survival...
3:42 This music basically says "You've made it far, very far, but you won't make it much further..." best introduction to a final boss in any FNAF game, official or not.
0:10 I like how it automatically puts us in fnaf 2 letting us know "you've done this before, now get it done" 3:42 the intensity in this scene alone is incredible 4:52 the true definition of fear, the unknown, the insanity, the confusion and horrors of what that thing is and what it might do to you if you lose
It's not often a horror game manages to include music like this without breaking immersion, but Jr's did it quite well. The music sounds industrial enough that it fits with the environment and what's happening, and draws focus to the events in the game rather than taking you out of them. Hats off to the composers 🖒
4:34 I LOVE how they worked Mangle's signature static sounds into the music in such a perfectly bonechilling way. Honestly, Mangle's build up sequence in general is one of the best Final Boss build ups I've seen in years.
I like how in this iteration, The Mangle is just all the animatronics combined into one giant "mangled" mess. Gives a more badass vibe to it in my opinion.
3:42 that moment when you realize "oh, oh dear god no" just seeing the mangle being built while you're trapped in a room with nothing else BUT this thing puts you into panic like imagine going through this in real life?
Fr. People are saying “oh I would js do this n that” until you get an adrenaline rush, the on,y thing on your mind is mangle, and knowing you have a 83% of dying
This theme is just perfect, it acts as a great call back to fnaf 2's trailer while also feeling unique, tense and spine chilling. Say what you want about the guy who made jrs but damn did he make a good game.
@@theplaceholder3He leaked information on games from fazbear funverse. The developers had their own personal chat, the creator went there and almost leaked important information about the games to people.
4:00 is my favourite part because it has a heartbeat sense, meaning your nightmares start to begin and then you instantly go into a mode where it's like "I got this, I finished this once, I will do it again"
Its not even just the ost, but the entire sound design and sfx for this game that's fantastic. I particularly like the sound that plays after you check the correct animatronic its really cool.
"London bridge is falling down, Falling down, Falling down. London bridge is falling down. I. Am. Ready." See, Mangle, I don't think anyone was ready for that... God save the queen.
@@F4H4D_EXE I'll admit I can also hear something else for this part. "I am here." Or something like that, which could make sense as the game litteraly says "the mangle is here" in the second phase when he does repeat this part... But let's be honest, no one was ready for london bridge falling down... :(
@@hilvystewy7298 ramenov and a bunch of other people (including the chomper fangame director iirc) have leaked parts of the fanverse games (the main target being popgoes evergreen)
Considering Mangle was redone TWICE (technically 3 times considering they delayed the game a year and redid the model purely out of the lack of massive size), this has to be one of the best renditions of our favorite yes-gendered fox.
@@oozly9291 supposedly but a lot of OG fans still just say yes because we'll, that's all we've known as OGs but I'm not sure. The gender of mangle in JRs specifically is female but in the main series games I don't know if the last two games mangle was in (UCN and help wanted) confirmed it or not
This soundtrack was the chilliest I've heard in years. It sucks that the main guy did shitty stuff, but I pray people don't let that one nasty dude ruin their opinion of the game. It's amazing atmosphere wise and has the most amazing music!
@@banana404 Unfortunately, most nasty people use manipulation tactics to make whatever they do or create be on a pedestal. Which it exactly was Ramenov did, as he doxxed, or attempted to, multiple other developers in order to make his game "the best" in viewers' eyes. He also (allegedly) threatened Scott Cawthon himself with leaks to the fangame project games that he collected from other devs. Of course, there will be some people falsely accused, but when there's testimonies from everywhere, even your own team members, I think that explains itself.
@@banana404 power come with a price, so is quality. You need more than stale bland old average joe to actually make something good and more often than not those people have far more ambitious that they should. Look at bendy team and their shenanigans. Poppy playtime and their controversy and whatever happened to fnaf fangames. You need twisted mind to come up with juicy great stuff and twisted they truly are. Nestle is the prime example.
That is cool but when has Golden Freddy ever been a final boss/overused in a way? In the official games he's mostly just an easter egg or normal enemy like everyone else. I do appreciate they decided to make Mangle a cool boss in this fan game (and Mangle absolutely deserves more spotlight) though but you're making it seem like you hate golden Freddy's portrayal / think golden Freddy is terrible when I don't think Golden Freddy's used too much. Only in fnaf 1, 2 and ucn (and 4 if you wanna be like "Fredbear is Golden Freddy"). And when they are used it's for important story purposes. I think it would be cool to have a boss with just golden Freddy and it could incorporate hallucinations to trick you in some way.
@@THGMR-ox7sd I meant more of like a cliche, most people usually see golden Freddy as the final boss or lead character, mangle is one of the most forgettable in fan games and it’s cool giving her the spotlight for the first time
I was actually expecting a heavy metal drop somewhere because it feels like the music feels constantly building up not that I am complaining because it sounds good.
I guess the name kinda makes sense. They say that people were sacrificed to build the bridge, similar to how the robots are sacrificed to complete the mangle. And the mangle is the bridge to paulbear, or freedom.
I turned on this Music and put it in Loop while I do my Timed Exam and right when the time almost runs out, the part from 3:40 - 4:50 started to play and I felt the panic that was like being chased by a Rushing Monster while trying to reach the Escape Gate *Note: I do not play FNAF JR yet I felt the Vibe of the game in this song.*
My favorite moment was when in 7:15 you could starslt healing a Heartbeat, slowly getting stronger, then here at 7:20, you heard a kind of cry that sounds like It could have come from either the mangle or the Ghost, or maybe both, and at some point i can't really pinpoint, It ads a ticking clock to simbolize that the spirit is running out of time to kill you because lets face It as cool as the mangle is it's clearly not stable enough to last long and to serve as a body for the spirit, and then here 7:32, there seem to be breaths or roars mixed and intertwined with the Heartbeat, and It only wets more intense from there, until, at the clímax, the Music stops suddenly, representing either the mangle killing you, or the Ghost being unable to keep the body working any longer, and spoiler alert, but i think that the reason the Ghost was defeated so easly in the dreamscape was because they spent too much energy trying to stop the mangle from collapsing under it's own weight and from the damage It has From being the equivalent of a child building a stick figure with sticks and string, but instead of a stick figure the Ghost tried to build a "perfect" vessel for itself using everything It could, with was a bunch of animatronics that probably would have fallen apart if not for the player keeping them stable, and that was just a battery change or something like that IDK, and they ripped themselves appart to build that thing, and lets be honest It has the structural integrity of a house of cards boult on top of a sand Castle thats on top of a floatie in the middle of a pool full of either hyperactive toddlers (get that reference?) Or a bunch of teenagers Who mixed coffee, energy drinks, redbull, alcohol and any drug that makes you Hyperactive, point is it's a miracle that thing can even take a step torwards the ofice without falling appart.
2:44 does anyone else notice the musical reference to the FNAF 2 trailer music? (It's the little string part you can hear, which is a bit slower than the actual FNAF 2 trailer but still the same melody?)
I finally got around to playing this game today, took me about 5 or so hours to beat the whole game, and I don't regret a minute of that time spent. This was such a fun game, and while night 6 kicked my ass more times than I'd like to admit, we had this banger of a track to accompany it, so it was never boring at least
After 1st watching ppl play the final night, this ost made watching so much more intense and chilling. Especially when you try to put yourself in the position of the player, it's just so intense and stressful that I really like it
Mangle's icon looked like Golden Freddy So I was like, HOLY SHIT, GOLDEN FREDDY But when I saw it was mangle, my disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined
Okay, but THIS- 4:52- with the text "THE MANGLE IS HERE." in the top just shows how much of a threat Mangle is here unlike the original game. It's basically the same thing from earlier, but much more intense, which fits very well considering the situation.
Wow. Just, wow. I have never heard anything that is comparable to this. The amount of tension it builds is insane, listening to this while playing that boss fight must be hell haha. This song is amazing.
I don’t think I’ve ever screamed in both pure fear joy and shock as much as the first time hearing the London bridge chorus and seeing the mask at the bottom
It's not like security breach really is a horror game. It was like the karate kid with Jaden Smith only has karate in the name because if it had been called kung fu kid nobody would have seen it In this case it has the horror tag simply because they knew that if they didn't the fans would have said that fnaf died in sister location just as Halo fans do with everything that came out after halo reach.
@@cronoa_hourglass2184 - the ending was not as satisfying as the ending to Jr's with Jr's it felt like the series as a whole has come full circle with security breach it was so vague it left me and many fans unsatisfied with what they set up with the trailers of security breach
Love how first half of the night are the animatronics that you already know about with the same mechanics of FNAF 2, and the second half is this horrifying "Ennard" type of thing
0:00 Remember this place? Welcome back to hell! 3:42 You haven't seen shit yet! Say your prayers! 4:52 Death has arrived. Goodbye Never has a FNAF game, fangame or not, built up so much tension with *just music.* And they time it to events in the game! Amazing!
This music absolutely horrifying It's like you are at the forefront of death, Knocking on despairs door, and the only way you'll win is doing everything you can, amazing music! chilling!
IDK if anyone else has noticed, but at about 2:33, you can hear Fnaf 2's trailer music mixed in; it's the part of the trailer that's flicking thru all the different cameras. AKA the first time the Mangle had ever been seen by the fanbase.
To be a fan of fnaf's current birth game, he does it quite well, very well the models, the music, the environment, the feeling of realism, the music of mangle making his presence makes Jr's Being the best fnaf fan game this year, I haven't felt that "survive for your life" vibe since fnati 2020 hourglass
Bro this music is horrifying it perfectly captures the situation your in with the creepy faces on the TV as the animatronics try to kill you it’s amazing the only way I could describe it is future/technology, action, and it gives off a creepy/erie vibe it’s such a good OST especially at 3:42 when the music picks up and you see the monster that has been building up all game

This game is the equivalent of that one old horror movie "The Blob" that started as a small horror movie but the remake showed no mercy and was a big comeback. This game does that with FNAF. Great work.
