Download - www.hospitalre... An absolute gem from the London Elektricity album "Power Ballads". A regular at Hospitality this one sounds fantastic whether it's in the mix or not. From 2005, this is "Vapour Trail".
I was on the train to my first job after school. Since in my town it was hard to find a job I decided to leave it and go search elsewhere. It was very unpleasant since after school I lost contact with almost everybody and then the decission I made put me in a state of "My parents left me in a dark forrest one day just like that" :D I had a portable MP3 player which at that time was really something and I could record anything off FM on the player. This is was the 1st song I heard when I came to the new town. It gave me confidence since I never heard anything alike before and I kept it repeating for a long time after that. Soon I was able to rent my 1st own room. It was in a shitty neighborhood, the room furniture was sticky and what not but it was mine. I played this song every morning I went to work to cheer me up and give me confidence in my new life and damn it worked well. PS: The FM reception was really bad so I had a sound quality about 22kHz going from stereo to mono and to stereo depending on my standing and I did not catched the whole song. So being able to listen to it in full lenght and quality after all those years brings back memories :)
@@eog1234 thanks :) yep, way better now. Looking at that time now it was a big leap of faith into mountain cold water but I am sure without that I would probably be struggling with shitty job opportunities and treated everywhere as a replaceable asset. If that is the correct term for that :) I even finished high school during work
if these videos are to compete with MrSuicideSheep's and others vids, they need to be wave quality, like theirs. Other than that, big ups for the uploads
There’s nothing more frustrating when an artist releases an album (one of five pieces of vinyl) and you absolutely love one tune, but couldn’t care less about the rest. I had the same issue with Bad Company’s ‘Lost in Safari’- ‘The Hornet’ is a killer, but the rest is faff. Don’t suppose anyone buys vinyl anymore?
I do not understand why this name for the song, did not give you the inspiration for more? :( It gives me that the standardization of geoengineering is not a positive thing, besides causing me some laughter. Vapour trails, really? It can't bother me anymore, coming from an artist that I recognize as one of my favorites.. A struggle that we have many, denounce the chemtrails.
Climate spasticity wasn't really a thing back in (circa) 2005. Pretty sure it's a reference to 'smoke'- that pesky stuff that trails off the front end of that environmentally friendly 'erbal' bifda that you don't mind chugging on- ad nauseum.
