Je vais mettre ça sur le compte de l’émotion, mais elle a eu du mal à canaliser ses grandes capacités vocales et a offrir une prestation sans faute. Manque de justesse sur certaines notes et manque d’unité sur la prestation. Le choix de la chanson était aussi très osé surtout pour une audition à l’aveugle. Un travail intéressant se profile pour Amel afin de l’amener à trouver son style vocal et sera déterminant pour la suite de son parcours dans l’émission.

In the female voices of the third Blind session, this is my prefered voice. As opposed to Marina (2nd blind session) she seems to be better capable of communicating emotion, she seems to have more controle of her voice. Moreover she has a trendy tessitura perfectly suitable to go far in this specific competition, Trendy means that such tessitura in the kind of tessitura that french public likes, so this is a strong advantage... don't forget that this is the public who decides finally, so one can love or hate some competitors, if we want to guess who will be the possible winner we must forget our own firm favourite and understand WHAT IS THE REALITY OF THE MASS MARKET With cross battles taking place earlier since the Voice France season 2021, this means more power given to the public, less power given to coachs, this also means that it's not sure that a former winner as Maëlle could win today. Maëlle has been protected by coachs before reaching the final stage... coachs have now less power. Don't forget that each international franchise of The Voice have not exactly the same rules, theses différent rules may have a real impact French franchise is the main foreign franchise (the original being The Voice Holland), and since two seasons, french franchise has been used to test some new concepts as setting up crosss battles earlier in the competition (suppressing the final single audition), adding a fifth coach who firstly appears in the special seaon The Voice All Stars 2021, and impacting the new regular season but with an hidden fifth coach.
