Anyone here appreciates the fact that there are other police officers responding too? You came in with your squad and joined by other police officers, you are not 1-man army in this, this feels real.
HIMSSER All of those games are a beauty in it’s own, we just loved seeing it a bit more realistic where lawn enforcement and Military come together as a team defending their country.
SwordArt eh, the word imminent implies something that has a high chance of happening in the future. If you saw a bomb that was counting down, and had the tools to defuse it, would you wait for it to explode before doing something?
@@Deathmare235I can understand(Gaz is also my favorite)that but tbh I think mw2 was focusing mainly on Ghost and Soap and ts141 rather than Price and Gaz as we now in the first game already have a connection with but with the new entries they had to develop them so it’s understandable why he had limited time but is also a bit sad 😢
old man kevin >realistic >female general within first minute of video Man people get excited over such basic things and mediocre games that were a standard back in the day...
This was the mission that made Modern Warfare the game that practically redeemed the series. After years and years of crud, finally we got a game that understood that in conflict, _no-one fights alone._
Drexif Well he’s in the SAS, which is the UK equivalent to the Navy SEALS. He’s trained to do things like that without hesitation or fear if the situation calls for it
Deathtrooper40 he wanted to stop the attack before it even started but the higher ups wouldn’t let him because of the rules of engagement. I can tell by the conversation between him and price at the ending cinematic
Teacher: We’re going to London Normal students: Ah sucks. It’s always rainy! Emo kid: Cool it’s gothic! Smart student: We will learn so much haha! Abdul:
Fulcrum 4.0 I’m going to make a joke that’s going to end up me getting my ass kicked but yeah, i though i went balls deep, but Activision blew it away.
@@JohnSmith-oe5rx Wait, you also had experience chocking on some other guys balls? Hey man, I've been also feeling "curious" too man. Thanks god, I don't have to feel alone. I can finally come out without prosecution. Thank God for the internet.
Irvin Vasquez Alright, don’t know if my wife would be happy with that idea! Haha... 😅 😳 But for real though, my wife is from Texas and so am i, and you don’t mess with your Texan wife since she’ll make you regret it alot. All married Texas husbands know that and have a rule to never mess with their wifeys and if they do they know how heavily their punishments can be. I happily haven’t experienced it yet, i’ve been a good boy with her. And i’ve never seen my wife really hate me or be pure angry on me, because i’m not lazy and i’m a good husband in my own opinion, and she agrees with that to some extend 😛 She definitely will kill me for that comment above there though, since it’s honestly a bit inappropriate and immature. Especially for my age and our great marriage that we’re proud of. And incase wifey finds this, i’m asking for forgiveness babe. Please don’t make this real nightmare come out for me... 😘 😛 She sometimes uses my accounts and more, so there’s a chance that she might haha. 😅 Have a good day from the ol Texas 😉 🇺🇸 🇺🇸 🇺🇸
like the truth was shown in many war movies (as Private Ryan, Hacksaw Ridge). This game is for 18+ so if it's unbearable for sb then definitely shouldn't play.
This game makes u think twice abt who u are shooting at, shows how hard it is in real life to be a soldier or a cop, deciding when to shoot and when not to... Meanwhile the terrorists are ramboing their way with LMGs
Swear, seeing random looking civilians put on mask and pull out guns out of nowhere and spraying down even more civilians shit reminded me of olympus has fallen i was like bruh this game fuckin with me
I played it and the police were saying “Hes gonna kill a hostage, he’s just killed the hostage!” I died and restarted, killed the terrorist who took a hostage and the police over the radio said “Thank you to whoever saved that person”
I like how gritty and gutwrenching this game is. You have to make those permanent and split second decisions that could kill or save civilians and you have to deal with those consequences. This isn't the invincible action hero glamour of older games, this is the real deal.
Well yes but no. On one hand it's way more realistic than the other games. On the other hand if you shoot ANYTHING the game didn't approve of you get a game over and you start again
And the fact the game doesn't give you a "game over" screen if you accidently kill a civilian (sometimes they do) or if a civilian dies in missions like "clean the house" makes it more gutwrenching because that's the game giving you the harsh truth: You can't save everyone.
I really love the opening few seconds of this mission - where you are just cruising round london in the Land Rover looking for bad dudes. I feel like it's a shame they didn't "build the tension" more before it all kicks off. Perhaps have a few "false alarm" scenarios where you think you've identified the terrorists and it turns out to just be some ordinary bloke in a white van.....and play that out for long enough to just make you relax..and then BOOM..hit you with this carnage. That would have been awesome. I also wish it didn't escalate *quite* so rapidly to absolute carnage. It doesn't feel very realistic.
Actually that escalation to pure carnage does feel realistic. All hell is supposed to break lose once the big guy (bomb) goes off as a signal for the terrorists to attack
It actually did happen. The level takes inspiration from a piccadilly terrorist attack that, if I remember correctly, happened sometime in the late 90's.
My God man this mission was hardcore. I had no idea where to go and I couldnt count how many times I got mowed down, standing out in the clear open, trying my best to cover civilians. Much respect to our military and our boys in blue.
Yeah but it feels so much more powerful than the MW3 vacation mission because you're actually being affected by it rather than just watching some tearjerker family scene
No tf he didn't. His voice sounds way too grindy. He sounds like one of those smokers that destroyed their own throats and need to stick those things in their throats just for people to understand what they're saying. Same for Ghost.
In this game this is after Russia during the attack on the stadium and after they captured makarov and put him in the gulag. So during this event makarov is in jail.
Probably the most intense mission in the game. Sure you got more memorable missions like clean house or the wolfs den, but the topic surrounding this mission is just so serious and grounded. Where No Russian was shocking, this is scary
I’m visiting England and I went to Piccadilly Circus and wow it is almost EXACTLY the same as they made it in the game. You can tell they really put work into this game
@Adrian Sandy General Lyons in the beginning cutscene. The voice actor also voiced in Fallen Jedi Order and especially Wolfenstein the New Colossus. I knew something was strange when I found the resemblance in their voices
Dylano Revs hate the guy that plays him his over use of slang lingo is really obnoxious and off putting nothing like old price, this one just seems like a cocky bellend.
@@samw2670 the old price actor sounds a but off from what he sounded like in mw3 since hes kinda old now so considering all options I think he did a good job
You can never know who is a terrorist and who is a civilian cus they wear the same clothing. You will be having second thoughts before firing at someone.
I played this map a year ago and I didn’t think I would ever be able to see it in person. I am in London right now and got to see it, it is so accurate it’s ducking crazy!
IHATEYANKS41 can I tell you something London has been attacked all the time the worst one people thinking in London was the London bombing 7/7 where terrorist had nothing but suicide explosive belts so yeah but I’m telling this everyone and my teacher told me this as well a terrorist attack could happen anywhere Paris, London, Berlin, Rome, Moscow, Washington, Schools, Restaurants, Parks, Party anywhere bruh remember that
This mission's vibe is very similar to Infinite Warfare's second mission: both games feature terrorists, they attack majorly, and both Reyes and Kyle were limited by their rules of engagement until it was too late.
I love how this level really shows that you can’t be the hero and save everyone just like in a real life scenario. Great Job on the campaign Activision well worth the wait
In real life it’s called Piccadilly Circus because Piccadilly comes from the word Piccadil which was a thick collar Shakesphere wore. And Circus is a latin word fir circle. It’s real and you should visit it
I've just got the platinum for this. What bugs me about this mission is that London wouldn't be that dark at 6pm on October 25th. It would be slightly dark but not like that.
Station Chief Laswell: "General, right now intelligence is our best weapon-" General Lyons: "We've tried intelligence, get me a better weapon" *Proceeds to call a 'better weapon'*
Price sacrificed the bomb hostage to save others... My condolences to the hostage's daughters. even if Price and Kyle could relive the moment, they couldn't disarm the bomb vest.
You can get an achievement for not shooting a single civilian. Add in 'Realism' difficulty and you'll feel really good about yourself accomplishing this.
Ngl watching Piccadilly explode gives me anxiety since I've been there multiple times and an Islamic terrorist woman tried to blow up a couple of hotels in London a few days back still a cracking campaign though absolutely love the realism.
I don't know if this is an easter egg: if you look around as everything is happening you'll sometimes find groups of 3 men shooting in the formation as makarov and his men shot in the no russian mission in mw2. I don't know how many of these groups there are but there's more than 1
I got to be honest here, the campaign fell short after the halfway mark. What started out as something engaging and gripping turned into a generic ending
