I get asked about this remix quite a bit, I won a competition and the prize was meant to be for the winning remix to be included on the Tru Thoughts re-issue of the "London Posse - Gangster Chronicles." Unfortunately, after I won the competition they decided not to and instead just released it as a mp3 stuck right at the end on the iTunes download only. Even though I was really disappointed I was just happy to get a chance at remixing such a classic track and that I know Rodney P has heard it and liked it.

hey Nick tbh its the forst time ive listened to this remix ... "N YOU WENT IN" n did a great job , the reason why i avoided playing it is bcos .. my name is Sparkii Ski (aka Da siccaViccA) . i made the original version along with many other UK classics,, i eltlike id been violated at the time bcos i was never asked if i wanted it done and (if i was i would have said hell yes) but a BIG HELL NO to sharing my sounds/stems from the the original multi track recordings ..this i felt and still feel was wrong for the label to do in as a cheap way to promothe reissue of that classic LP .I HAVE idea how many folks got to DL My PRSONAL sounds which i made and used for not only this tune .. n to top it all off i was "NEVER ASKED TO TAKE PART IN THE JUDGING OF THE WINNER" ,, anyway its a great track great cuts and all well put together .. respect n Stayuo FaM peace Bboy Sparkii Ski 1982-InfinitY

It was really nice to read your message as i love your stuff and i consider this one of the best hip-hop tracks made.
