It wouldn’t be as good as the original, but I wish they would do a reboot of this series. New appliances and all. Would give it a fresh modern look. Wouldn’t even have to include the original characters, a new cast maybe. A new British firefighting drama is needed big time. I like the Police stuff but there’s too much of it.
5:06 Said this before when this shout was last up somewhere, but I always loved how Nick jumped in to follow George. He doesn't stand about and demand and order, he gets stuck in and follows George's lead to help.
Was a really classic series and brings back good memories as a child watching this. Once Zorba died and the new station was built, the series declined for me big time. Made many want to be fire fighters I’m sure and great to see again. Wish they would repeat it.
I can’t believe Geoff almost missed the appliance, that’s almost like Brian from Backdraft (American Chicago Fire Department film) hitting the door towards the end of the movie
Well, I've done some research on exemptions and non exemptions on blue lights. What George has done is he went past a light, without treating it as a give way, even though emergency drivers are supposed to.
@@Charlzey1998 Yes, that is a good argument. But some cars nowadays can be made with soundproof materials, or people just play their radios too loud. There is a good reason why George should've treated that red light as a give way. Plus, if there was an accident, a British court would most certainly find him at 100% fault.
@@johnarat9618As far as I know Emergency vehicles can go through red lights, you hear a Siren you move out its way, so its the other way around, cars etc have to give way to the emergency vehicle and you can hear them in a car.
@@damonk3674 All that says is the rank you were. Both Georgiadis, and the officer at the end of the video, are Station Officers. Georgiadis is wearing a prototype of a new helmet being tested. The other officer is wearing what was the official uniform at the time. I'm just curious which white helmet "model" you have, as you said, whether it was the shape of Georgiadis', or the other Station Officer.
