It's time for something completely different. We headed to London with a few 'builderers' (climbers who boulder on buildings), to find a few secret climbing sports. Surrounded by people, chaos everywhere we shouldered our pads and walked into the Urban jungle...

Just like how bouldering was a way to train when conditions weren't right for climbing, buildering originated when burglars couldn't find any open windows in their neighbourhoods but wanted to keep their skills honed True story... ;)

This did make me laugh to be fair. Travelled past Yorkshire grit and the the whole of the peak district to climb on a dirty sea wall! Not my bag but fair play if your keen!! 😂

Due to transportation constraints, I've done my share of buildering in my neighborhood! Glad to see it repped on the channel

we did some of this about 20 years ago in my how town. there was no gym and we couldn't afford the commute to the next crag, so it was the only option to get you hands on well, something. i don't remember it to be particularly satisfying though...

I think we should use the new and improved B-grade, which would be very similar to the v-grade, only making it unique to buildering

And students at Cambridge were doing this when Johnny Dawes was just a glint in the milkman's eye. I don't think they're claiming to be the first. And nor did Johnny.

and nor did I. Was simply giving it a mention as a tonne of folk in this comment section appear to think this is something new. Thus, hating on these dudes. I actually thought this was cool. Even though they missed a large amount of awesome grit to get to london.. Haha
