Imagine having a home stadium where a stand has to be taken apart then reassembled every few months. No wonder West Ham fans can’t get themselves to feel at home here.

And the fans in the curve above are looking at an acre of plastic, then the back of a temporary stand, then the pitch. It's the worst football ground of its size in the developed world.

Make it cricket ground

Horrible ground, it's not meant for football. West ham should purchase the stadium and get rid of the running track, gut the current stands and start again. They've got a lot of space to play with so could build the new stands nice and close to the pitch with a good steep angle for an intimate atmosphere. Then you'd have to add a little bit more of a lip around the roof opening and give all that white metal work in the roof/ceiling a paint, something darker like charcoal and black. Also no white seats, just claret & blue, then it's be great.
