Stansted airport security is just horrible. I arrived yesterday at 1:00am because of a late plane. Staff at security were unhelpful, rude and just bullies. To be honest, the eorst person was a black woman shouting at people while they were going through the digital pasdport control. Instead of helping she shouted at people "can you ready what is telling you to do?". To a different person "Do you understand that it is telling to look fir assistance?". And then she kept shouting at people to move on, get in line and so on. Such behaviour is just disgraceful.
You should point out that the plastic bags must be 20x20 cm max. I didn't know that because I never had problems with bigger one at Prague airport (20x30). :( In Stansted they made me change it during the check so I looked like an idiot because I wasn't able to squeeze all the things into the smaller bag.
