Ive flown from Stansted, Luton, Bristol, Birmingham, Leeds-Bradford and Manchester Airports, and Manchester Airport has by far the worst system ive ever seen, along with the worst staff and some of tbe rudest staff ive ever come across, along with the city centre, too, maybe its just a Manc thing 🤷

Hi there! I notice the highest voted comment on this video is one saying how their anxiety can't handle all this. Can I suggest that next time you post a video about airport security, you don't include 'up beat' fast paced music, as I honestly found it hard to concentrate on what is very important information (I am autistic and need important info to be provided in a calm, slow matter).
l used the drop off parking today - at the barrier the person in front had a lot of difficulty getting her payment to be processed - after a few attempts -she managed it - l reached the barrier - it went up - so l automatically drove through - as did the vehicle behind me
@@activekitchen1 hi, too close to tell on a fine at the moment, but I went yesterday again for a pick up and that time I pulled upto the gate and had to pay to get out. My guess is that the gates opening without payment may be related to early hours or the traffic build up. I couldn’t find anything anywhere online about payment after the fact, so finger crossed!
Same here. Just got back, it was a nightmare! Machines seemed to be faulty, over the 15 minutes, finally a barrier went up and a few of us drove through! Not daring to stop and pay with a crowd behind.
Massive rip off to have pay to drop people off as they go away. I don't concent to a contract of ripping off the public to Drop someone off there should be an area where one can drop off and go not barriers so they can fleece people. If I want to park fair enough I pay a fee, dropping off should be free. And they are trying to sell it to us like doing us a huge favour I think not.

Here's the best tip: Avoid this s***hole like the plague. Rude security staff, filthy toilets, travellators that I've seen working on only two occasions in nearly 30 years, 24 hour shops that aren't 24 hours and a convoluted route from security to the gates via the overpriced duty free. It's worth an extra half hour's travel to go via Liverpool - or if you're in Yorkshire, use Leeds Bradford: a completely different, more relaxed experience.

I recently used EzyBook for airport parking, and it was a decent experience. The booking was straightforward, though the website could be a bit more intuitive. How can that be a 6 month programme? You already have cashless machines and you’ll be swapping out a few cash machines for cashless. 6 months!! Agree with other comments that should adopt the online Heathrow type system as often the cashless card taping doesn’t work.
On 26/02/2024 I tried tapping my card and nothing happened so I inserted card and machine reads to remove and I retried several times but didn’t work. I pressed the help button and after explaining the problem I was told to go to the next barrier. Same problem so I pressed the help button and explained that I tried to pay but it is not working on both barriers. The person operating the barrier allowed me to go through. I am worried if they will send me a penalty. My car registration EU16 BZM. Can someone advice me or help me resolve this problem.
Did you get fined? Today I went through, the barrier opened without me even tapping my card, I tried to pay but couldn't. So I had to drive through. I'm worried I'll get a fine.

Setting off from Edinburgh, I gave them a whirl on a friend’s recommendation. Best decision! The ease of booking and competitive prices were a great start. But it was the staff that really made it - so friendly and eager to assist. The shuttle service was a breeze, and my car was waiting for me, safe and sound. EzyBook Uk parking, you’ve nailed it.
You should point out that the plastic bags must be 20x20 cm max. I didn't know that because I never had problems with bigger one at Prague airport (20x30). :( In Stansted they made me change it during the check so I looked like an idiot because I wasn't able to squeeze all the things into the smaller bag.
Why have not gone for the no barrier with an ANPR system like Heathrow and Gatwick drop off and pay online up to midnight the next day , which are both cheaper.
Best advice I can give to travelers, is double check your cash amounts prior to going through security, then check again when regaining control of your valuables. An experience I had at Manchester airport called into question the integrity of security staff, when I brought it to the attention of Mag, they weren’t interested.

Superfast cashless payments are for their benefit not yours. Saving money on not accepting cash is further proof that they dont give a shit about their customers. Remember 3/4 of MAG is owned by several manchester city councils that are always run by the Labour Party. Socialism my arse. Greed is fine according to Labour now.
Just got back from Manchester. I can easily say Manchester is the worst airport security in the world. Took me an hour to get through. Every time they found anything (or didnt) they put my bags at the back of queue (each round 15-20 mins. So many people around me getting angry and a lot missing their flights.
