Great day out on a London to Brighton ride arranged by my friends at Moloko Cycling. Lots of riders also joined to see off Duncan Covey on the start of his round the world challenge on his bike!

Nice one Fede great ride but the weather didn’t appear to look great for people wearing summer gear. You definitely made the right decision clothing wise. Riding to Brighton is awesome. We did london- Brighton- London which was epic . On the way back my mates absolutely flew down Devils dyke . I wish I could have followed them , I get to nervous these days to throw caution to the wind. Keep up the good work and have a wicked time in Mallorca 💪🏾👍🏽

Excellent as always Fred & the group of cycling friends seems a hoot.., done the London to Brighton ride afew times already & damm that Ditchling Beacons climb ( why does it seem harder every time i climb it ) anyway brother it's always a pleasure to view your cycling endeavours so never stop what you are doing..., have a fabulous weekend brother 👊🏾👍🏾

Thank you! I added some small fluffy pads to the GoPro microphones to limit the wind noise and the sound is acceptable

Hi Federico, Could you give some info on what Siroko kit you are wearing on the bike according to the seasons/temp. Rarely on their site do they indicate a temp range for clothing. e.g. Winter 0 - 5, Spring/Autumn 5 - 15, Summer 15 - 25? Thanks

I touched on this in one of the Siroko videos. I always ride with good pace and effort, this has got to be read in context. I go with the lighter options (M2 or SRX) up to 12-10 C, maybe with a vest to add or different base layers. Below 12-10 degrees I use the M4 thermal jersey, with different base layers again up to 5 C. Below 6 or so I use the jackets, J1 or J3. Below zero I add a thicker base layer and a vest to the jacket. But I pedal relatively hard.

1) Very little point to ride aero bike when you wear huge and poor aerodynamic performance helmet and also wear a huge beard, and besides that carrying two big bottles on the frame… 2) Most riders wear dark clothes and do not have lights on their bikes, this is very dangerous. Riding bicycle is very dangerous itself, not even to say that riding road racing bike is even more dangerous, so why trying to increase danger even further?…

It's actually an enjoyable (sort of) climb, nice gradient and lenght. I put all the blame to the train companies 😂😂
