It was 5:01 AM when I was driving to work. I was feeling a bit of dread knowing I had another 12 hour shift ahead of me. I was skipping through the songs on my phone when this came on. There's a stretch of Highway 19 where you can see the ocean and the islands and all of the lights from the houses on them. It's kind of angelic. Pitch black outside, an elk can walk in front of you while driving 120kph and instantly kill you, but this made me feel at peace.
spirals travel no matter what you say or do like a butterfly everything dies to begin with over tearing through and then a shock of light it's dragging me so high and I will believe in you telling me
The vibe of reading 10,000 books in a lifetime...the vibe of having the ability to transcend all that life gives you...the vibe of miles above sea level
This is simply a superb piece of music. I keep coming back to it time after time. I can't put into words what this track makes me feel. Lone, if you by chance read this: Thank you.
I felt like this album was a bit ahead of its time when I first heard it. Full of bright playful '90s sounds and jungle drums before the '90s nostalgia had really taken off. If anything it would play better now.
All of Lone's music are so beautiful that it can reduce Blackpink to a pile of ashes, and this song makes me feel like as if I'm traveling back in time or into outer space or other dimensions with colorful lights...
+VoshMusic it sounds like it could be an synth organ patch, run through some erosion to lower the bit rate and some saturation - knowing Lone uses some old school techniques though it also could just be a sample that he's playing in, with FX and treatment - sounds like it has some polyphony though so I'd go for the first - maybe find a warm Rhodes preset in your DAW synths and start from there
lone uses fl studio, which makes me believe he used fruity love philter (the yuk yuk effect) to recreate the distortion effect. the synth used is the one that can be heard at the beginning of the song
This is so different to what was previewed before... and I'd say it's for the better (not saying what was previewed was bad ;D). It's been great seeing this guy expand his style over the years yet still being able to keep his signature sound. Keep it up, LONE!
I like the "Galaxy Garden" demo that used to be up on RU-vid. This is the same exact synths used, just different drums, alongside some additives (lead and vocals). I really do like the textures in this version, though.
Lone is a very talented musician! Anneka's voice sounds more like Madonna [circa 1990s... think "Take a Bow."] to me. I guess the Sade comparisons are based on the style of the track.
go onto google and search images for this album cover but make sure its high resolution pic, looks fucking amazing trust, youtube's quality screws the whole thing up
