I’ll be interested in how the seat is. I started using a LW hand climber this year and love it so far. This looks even better because it’s even quieter, lighter, and allows standing closer to the tree.
@@arrowsanonymous7394 hey I use a crossbow only and I only have one eye lost other one rabbit hunting years ago my question is I was looking at this stand and XOP new climber the revolt they are coming out with in 2024 but I think I just heard they are not going have the sit bar on it which is my reason for a sit and climb now I am a bigger guy like 280 and I know that LW says 250 on this stand but A do you think I would be ok in this stand and B do you like that stand from what I see I love it just by looks and function of it and I have no issues with the cost my crossbow is a 3000 dollar set up so you got to have best and I have found where I hunt ladder stands I got they stop coming by them after they figure out your there so the element of surprise I think is the best thing for bow hunter thanks for your time
i love my Alpha Sit N Climb - been using it trouble free for 12 years. I'll buy this version when the price comes down a bit as i paid $450 and this one is more than double. Looks like the quality you'd expect from Lone Wolf though. Thanks for the review 🍺
Looking forward to getting one of these before next season. When I can find a tree fit for a climber on 9/10 of my hunts, I don’t think I’ll find a more lightweight or more efficient stand. I like my Hand Climber, but I’ll gladly pay 2x for this.
Wow I haven’t got into a climber, hang on or saddle. For on the fly hunting run and gun style, innovation and compact light weight. Makes me feel better if I have to drag a deer out with that on my back compared to others 3x heaven, price is steep but wish it had lifetime wear/replacement belts to make it feel better. I’m a penny pincher but bougie on makes since my kind of hunt stuff and I think I’m going to really look into this one. Beautiful design. Probably do a climber with a saddle harness hybrid for all day comfort. Nice video
I was looking at it. But scored a lw assault hand climber for 250.00 on Facebook marketplace. Picked up a couple belts from eBay before they went stupidly overpriced.
LWCG really messed up here. Price is way off. The seat looks awful uncomfortable. All they needed to do was bring back an updated LW hand climber and Sit and climb. There definitely is a market for an all day sit kind of stand vs going ultra light. Everything is so light and uncomfortable if they just hit a little under what the 14lb old assault and be more comfortable they would sell really well. I don't even like saddles much but im taking my saddle over something like this every time.
Is it really $1,000.00 good? I mean a summit open shot is $350.00 and only 4lbs heaver. No, it doesn't have twisty knobs or pack to 1-7/8" thick, but it does come with a real seat. Oh, and it leaves you with $650.00 left over also. Us hunters are letting companies' price gouge us. It's not like a B&C buck is gonna look up and say" Hey, that's that new $1,000.00 LW climber. I better go over and take a look at it". Good review, glad you like it. Please show it in action.
Do you have any experience with the the old lone wolf hand climber? I’m wondering how much better this actually is, other than weight and the stacking/locking pin.
I have an original sit and climb. I like it but it has a few issues that this model answers. No way could I pay that price. I'm afraid that will be the downfall. Too bad.
$1000 plus shipping? LMAO. Seriously? $250 for a Summit Viper with all day comfort is the best value out there. I tossed a mesh seat on mine. You guys must really think spending a lot on your gear will make you automatically better hunters. I’d hang in my method 2 saddle all week over this. That seat sucks. Good luck with that for more than three hours. Too funny.
@@arrowsanonymous7394 I’d rather walk in with my summit any day. I do walk in 3+! That thing is noisy as well. Also I wouldn’t give LWCG a dollar comfortably knowing what they must really think about their customers by how they price gouge them! You’re a fool and a sucker if you co-sign that company
@@TwinnzllcHe seems like he spends more time in front of a mirror than in the woods. I give him 45 minutes on that web they call a seat before he’s moving around like he’s got ants in his pants. Guys like this think the more they spend on gear, the better hunter they will be. I have walked 3 miles with my summit many times. Dress light. Know where you’re going. Tightened down it’s quiet and no big deal but I’m not a pussy like the pretty boys.
@@tonyviers-de9qi Yes, $1000. When Tree Walker went out of business, Heartland took over and started making the stands with some minor upgrades and a big price increase.
You're absolutely right. If you wish to continue to support businesses that price gouge their customers, then by all means. Problem is, if people like you continue to pay these exorbitant prices, then pretty soon all manufacturers will do the same. It'll get to a point where the average joe will have to take out a second mortgage just to buy an arrow
@@krisalan5327 or people who have waited on an updated version since the sit and climb bought. There’s a hardcore sit and climb fan base. And they’ve asked for this version for YEARS
@@arrowsanonymous7394 You sure are D riding them and making up a lot of excuses to justify their price and flaws. I could buy 4 summits and none of them would make any noise OUT OF THE BOX! Bud
