Lonesome Fiddle Blues is probably the best known composition by Vassar Clements. In this fiddle lesson I give two versions of the tune. The first is a relatively simple and basic melody, constructed from a number of recordings (he never played it the same twice!). The second has a lot more hot Vassar licks, again gleaned from different recordings. I use on-screen sheet music throughout, and a free pdf is available to subscribers.
