Ok I have to put this out there. I have been listening to blue grass and obviously Merle my entire life. Lol BUT I have found songs of yall and Chris Stapleton singing and yall are amazing! I was named after that song but music speaks! Keep on keepin on! I hope I get to see yall one day!
I'll be totally honest - I didn't like this version the first time I heard it live. But since then I've realized that this tune, Money In The Bank, Hobo Blues, et al are re-workings of songs that were great in the original versions but had potential to be something more - a jam tune! Not every song works for that but kudos to Sammy and crew for groovin' it on the ones that do!
LRB.....I can take a little "jazzing" up an original tune....but this one AIN'T cutting it! Congrats! You just put the Osborne Bros. in their grave with this one! (Just sayin)
