Admittedly, I forgot that ASPD down and up is a thing depending on facing towards or away from gravity, only towards the end did I use it more deliberately. I'll have to use that mechanic more in the S stages.
Overall I really like CW-EX8. 1. Boss mechanic is crucial, you cannot kill her fast or the enemies have shorter routes 2. CM requirements is hard but it encourages me to use unique strats besides Guardknights 3. Gravity mechanic can be used in your favor especially when bursting down enemies 4. One thing that people tend to forget. There's literally a text that says "all enemies weighy are greatly reduced". Weedy S2 just cheesed every enemies
Spent 3+ days on EX-8-CM, until i've got all the timings down to the fraction of a second. It was very important in the beginning, or everything was falling apart. And 4 days before that i was sure that EX-8 is unbeatable with my current roster and i'll have to wait for a rerun :D
You actually can break her phase 1 fast, but with one requirement: she can't claim any balls, at most only one ball, before transitioning to phase 2. If she manages to claim two balls, you probably have to restart. Do it properly, you won't have to deal with the shorter route as long as you don't change the gravity before she captures all balls at the start of phase 2 or kill the Crossroad too early. Then you can take your time breaking the two balls and dealing with the enemies. Killing her fast on phase 2 is really difficult, if not borderline impossible, unless you omega buff your DPS to overcome the damage reduction. It's better to break her phase 1 fast then take your time with phase 2.
Tbf CW-S-4 is less struggling than CW-EX-8, it have less enemies, although there's a lot of gundams, you can actually burst them down easily with casters. People also able to clear that stage with only 1 6*
@@fishoreo for me, the main problem wasn't the gundams because just use any pusher and you can cheese them. The problem was there being too many balls, which made Kristen super tanky and unblockable unless you broke the balls which hits your whole team. I didn't struggle this time around but I still remember the pain I went through when this event came out on CN
I had everything planned out for CW-EX-7 CM. I would use Weedy to permakill bot lane with Yato Alter, Weedy cannon, and Texalter to shift the ball on top back and forth. Then I accidentally placed Weedy cannon one tile to the left and someone still managed to kill all the robots. Also EX-8 is rare stage where Yatoalter Skill 1 might be considered
Finished the rest of the event last night, first time since I was able to do that since starting to play Arknights again. (I started playing again when Sailreach was on the banner.)
I started playing when Saileach was on standard banner as well iirc, it was right before the Zeruertza event. First event that I finished in its entirety might have been Il Siracusano, not 100% sure tho
Damn, and here I thought I brute forced this. I suppose this is what happens when people don't have Kal'tsit, Mumu, or Vigil built. I flipped for a second when I saw the CM challenge, but then realized those operators existed, which trivialized the challenge. Kinda. I have an odd appreciate with how this event was built around the expectation that players have access to Texalter, Yatoalter, and Chenalter. In each case: Chen: can't nuke the big bois or the boss because they're stupidly beefy and only take more damage against ops with arts or high aspd. Texalter: S3 specifically. I felt that the the elite mobs of the stage were stupidly beefy, to the point that S3 was pointless. Yatoalter: Same issue as Texalter, really, at least in that she doesn't next to nothing against the balls and is mainly used to clear out the sword and shield bois. Gonna really need to bring out that thinking cap for the final event stage, cause man is it shit. Fun, but shit, lmao!
We went back to Old School Knights for this one. Hoshi with Block 4 can hold both a rocket car and normal dude, Surtr can hit past those no-deployment tiles, Kal'tsit can use her pet to hold and slap true damage on the boss, Eyja deletes many of the enemies, Ifrit has Def and Res shred and Saria can heal + block everywhere on the map. GG + Texas is also a sweet ball busting combo since both of them can RES shred the balls and GG auto targets them.
What do you mean?? Yatoalter, Texalter, and Chalter are better in this map than the average map. Yatoalter on Skill 1 can solo the balls. If you don't wanna use Skill 1, iirc Skill 2 still destroys the balls in two deployments. Texalter can kill it in two deployments while also lowering the def and res of the beefy bois. Also, their high hit count makes them good not only on the balls but also on the beefy bois. Texalter's stun also makes dealing with the rocket cars much easier because I can delay the 3rd and 4th ones until the second (and then third) was dealt with. Chalter is also still really good against the rocket cars, or against everyone except the high defense enemies (which she can still deal with because she deals two shots per attack). Hell, the boss only has B DEF and has A RES, and spends a lot of time just walking around, so if you don't have true damage then Chalter and Mlynar are probably the best damage dealer against the boss. I have no idea how I would have done this map if I didn't know the cheese method, and didn't have either Yato Alter or Texalter. (Or borrowed a Ling. That always works)
