Another note on the parking situation - in the "Alamitos Beach" parking lot - 380 E Shoreline Dr - it's actually down Beach Access Road off of Shoreline Dr - it's metered parking at 50 cents/30 mins.
There's one of these where I live... but lifejackets are mandatory.. for all ages. After a while..it gets hella exhausting and it gets difficult to climb back on there...
Omg yeah I've seen other videos of wibit parks with life jackets... I'm so glad it's not required - yeah its hard enough to climb back up *without* a life jacket!! 😉
We were all amped up to go, but then we saw... Stingrays common? Um, that will be a NOPE then. Husband has been stung twice, and usually it's an ER trip for any surfer we know, or at some point it gets infected and you end up with a trip to the dr and antibiotics. That gets expensive.
Aww well hope you reconsider, just FYI you pretty much swim almost the entire way out, only have to walk a short distance and if you shuffle your feet you'll be fine 💕
I'm pretty sure I read something saying you must be able to swim without a life jacket... not 100% sure though... however I've been out many times and never seen anyone with a life jacket
