One would have thought that the folks over at Dodge Ram would have had the common sense, to already have thought of this in the first place. Very nice.
I feel like stretching the frame like that would make it somewhat weaker. Especially if the truck were to get hit in that area. Or maybe they put extra cross-members in there that wasn’t shown in the video
to clarify... Ram does make a "crew cab, long bed" truck but not in the "Mega Cab" version. Many people like the extra interior room of the Mega but Ram FORCES you to only have the short bed version. These guys (and a couple other shops) allow you to have what you want.
