Im such a proponent of charging not just what pays the bills but your worth. Im a nail enthusiast. I do my own nails and only my own nails. I do Gel-x nails because its easier for me and in a space that's not ventilated like a kitchen I rather deal with minimal orders. Acrylic is cheaper to obtain but requires more of a skillset to apply. Gel-x is more expensive to obtain but less of a skillset to apply. The biggest learning curve for me with doing my nails is designs. Could I apply Acrylic? sure since I can do polygel but shit even polygel is a way steeper learning curve than Gel-x but less than acrylic because there's no time limit. Overall, charge more money. Dont let these people who are use to $30 full sets tell you what your prices should be like you do this for fun and not for a living. As long as the quality is there and IT IS! Charge your worth. Also wear a mask and eye protection too. I do when I do my sets and it makes a world of difference along with my dust collector
