Long distance is really hard. Especially when theres high cost involved in seeing eachother. In my experience you really don't start getting to know someone till you spend time with them in person. Your relationship could be great over the phone, even on video. Then being with them in person, things start to change. You learn who they really are. That can either be bad or good.

Little insignificant things that happened on my end got magnified 10 times in my partner's eyes, making me a culprit for nothing in the long run. Nothing replaces being close to each other.
