I can sympathize with Mal on checking the door constantly. I used to do the same thing a lot sometime back whenever I left to go to (high) school. I would probably check the door about 3 times before I left, but then again...since my mother was at home , I wanted to be completely sure the doors were locked (I worry too much...but that's because I care too much)! I still kinda do that now, but not as much. *:3*

I get like that, too (re: Mal checking to see if the door's locked a billion times), except I get like that with the garage door. Sometimes I'll be halfway down the block, and then have to turn around to check if I shut the garage door (which I always do, but brain farts). I sometimes do this thing where as soon as I see the door being shut, I say out loud that the door was shut so that I can help my brain remember it happening. But also, now that there are more affordable app-enabled smart home gadgets, let me tell you! They have been a godsend!!! I can just pull over, check my phone and make sure that the door is closed (and close it if it isn't).

soulgamer78 It is in The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, apparently. If you read the text in that game whenever you open a chest and receive an orange rupee, it will say his face was beaming. Edit: Orange rupee in that game = 100 rupees.

Every night, put active beehives by your front door inside the house to keep Mal from compulsively checking the door. The great thing about this is that if Mal or you *_did_* forget to lock the door, anybody who tries to break in your house will have to deal with the bees.

The way you described Mal and locking doors, sounds exactly how OCD is described in middle/high school health classes. (That and constant hand washing). One symptom isn't necessarily worth getting it checked out though.

You could make make a drinking game out of this blog. Grab some apple juice, milk, or your favorite non alcoholic beverage, and take a drink every time Stephen says he was able to get to know Jon a little better. By time the video ends you will be so having to go to the bathroom

When you talked about enjoying your time with Mal I remembered something. You really really should try out (maybe even make a First20 of) Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime. It's a really cool co-op focused game, and I think you'd really enjoy it.

My mom does the same thing Mal does. She is always checking the front door to make sure it is locked, but my mom says she started doing that after she had a break in one time (ironically this person didn't even use the door, but broke the window). Did Mal ever experience a break in or is it just a cautious thing?

+Big Mean Squeeze Once upon a time, there was an evil dragon terrorizing the world by creating fake facebook accounts of attractive women to trick men into clicking a website that would download viruses. The dragon was also the inventor of commenting "First" on youtube videos. Of course they dragon's hide was tough due to his scales he had on area exposed right to his heart, but the opening was small no one could hit it. Luckily he had another weakness, if he his hit by a lamp the dragon will die instantly, after milking his death for a few minutes. Jon decided to throw his lamp at the dragon to save the world. However, it cost him dearly; he no longer had a reading lamp. How could he read The Winds of Winter when it is finally released? Then out of nowhere, Chugga appears with an extra lamp for Jon. Chugga doesn't read, so he didn't need the lamp. It was all over the news. Did you not hear? Chugga is accepting a prize for his kindness.
