Looking forward to your updates Jay! 🤠 (P.S. Look into the story of Samson. There is great strength to be had with the type of vow you're under taking!)
4 month update: I feel really blessed and I feel really really good for having my hair grown out. I feel like more in tuned with my self and this may sound weird but its like I feel good treating others good around me. Before I used to be a bit arrogant to be honest but now I feel more down to earth and humble towards the world
@@BulkBoxer2 bro just remember to enjoy the process the more you enjoy it the better and faster time will pass. I did use rice water to help with my growth and it definitely helped a lot. You can use it 2 to 3 times a week and make sure to regularly comb your hair morning and evening to let the natural oils get through all of the scalp area. And most of all, practice reducing stress!
A benefit of having long hair for me is it exposes people who are judgmental, they can't help themselves and make a comment. Stay away from these folks!
True man it did happen to me a lot. But just saying I dont love that, but I actually detest that behaviour of commenting about our long hair I would prefer silence.
Why would they judge you for long hair? Unless your hair is so long its to your butt crack. That one's kind of gross. My little niece once asked a woman with hair to her knees if she has poop in her hair and how she gets it out 😂
I really don't know why people are obsessed with talking other people into cutting hair. Some friends of mine Just tell me so even before greeting. That's boring. Just ask me how I feel and leave my hair alone! Btw my hair Is clean and well kept while their hair May look fashionable but it's always the same layered and streaked bob that they wash once a week or even once every 14 day at their salon shelling a lot of Money to have It cut, harshly washed and filled with styling products they Will spread on their pillowcase or face mask 🙄
Dude this video was awesome! Really well put together. It straddled the mix perfectly better comedic and informative. Sound effects on point! Also the camera movement was was great too! It was cinematic yet still felt like a home made video without being amateurish. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
For the first time in my life I stop cutting my hair at 44, was always a person who had short hair. I used to have all kinds of mental health problems dealing with depression anxiety for many many years and ever since I've grown out my hair for two years I have noticed a lot of those issues I've been dealing with have all gone away, I think it's just made me more confident.
this made my WHOLE DAY. thank you so much. i'm about to start growing my hair out because it's always something that i have wanted to do, but i kept cutting it and i shaved it all off two years ago. so this is going to be a fun journey. loved seeing your energy
Awesome bro, I’m Native American so it makes me happy to see others coming into this knowledge, I love my long hair and it definitely has many benefits. 😁
native americans have the best hair on this planet and you all look super cool with long hairl. when i was a teenager i had my hair reaching my shoulders. never looked that good and i also have very very dense hair. i guess i have to grow it back and try some other style
I more or less did the same research into lo g hair as this young fellow and The Native American story struck a cord with me and is the reason I have grown my hair longer, over the last 7 years, at the 4 year mark I cut it again short and literally 2 days after I cut it I was short tempered again, lost all patiences with people, it has now grown back and I am chilled and way more intuative. So long hair is the way to go for me .
Nice video Kevin! I am growing my hair longer too. For me it is an outward expression of an inward feeling--I am relaxing. I am literally letting my hair down. :)
Gr8 vid man! It's not only intuition, I realized I feel other people's feelings, being too sensitive to their vibe so I cut my hair and everything became normal again but then I was not ready, huge detox while going vegan but now I'm growing again, it's much more comfy now since I do not have a need to wash my hair nor my body anymore (full body detox = no smells ever) except plain water from time to time of course but we shouldn't put any chemicals on our skin / hair - I love the natural smell :)
As a woman I was never as miserable as when I decided to do a pixie cut in 2014. People loved it but I felt so weird. Now..I'm 35 and my hair is to my waist and not colored or treated by heat. I was a hairdresser and tried every color and cut under the moon. But I learned that our natural hair texture and color suits us best and gives an outer impact to our personality inside. I'm from Europe and we have lots of tales about hair. Like you shouldn't have braided hair while giving birth for example ❤
@KevinBarryTV hi! Yes, of course :) I'm skandinavian. So it says that you shouldn't braid hair for birth because it can cause complications during giving birth. Like it twists giving birth in a bad way! It goes back for centuries. Hope that helps 😊💛
When people join the army its known they shave their heads! In the Bible it says "don't shave the sides of your head" I had a dream last night where "my" hair got shaved off... Not completely clean shave... But man was I pissed of in this dream lol. Great video brother. I'm growing this head hair... And beard. More of the natural look 😎
wonder why you stopped making videos. you are really good at this, you have the presence, the storytelling, and then nice music and good video as well.
Your hair and nails are antenas and are spiritual property... They need to be saved at all cost.. Yogis and gods in india never cut thier.. Its the spiritual strength.. The yogi bhajan phenomenon u mentioned is absolutely scientific.. Your kundalini awakes once the hair reach its optimum length.. Namaste
My hair is long. Once and for the second time recently, I cut my hair just to create a bang. But even so I pin it. It’s different & it is not for me. It’s the mere fact that I now understood; “i have deprived myself from the most valuable source of energy.”
It’s kinda annoying when people just regurgitate stuff anyone can find on a basic Google search - a little more research was needed - I’ve read those same three points on like every Google search it’s annoying, just constructive criticism
Very well put together bruv, i liked that you also mentioned monks and the possibility that this could just be a pseudo-science/quackery, which i personally do not believe and am also starting to grow my hair long. Nature knows best, everything is there for a reason.
Great video. I started my hair length in 5th 03' and always had long hair. I learned that when I was sad, angry I pulled my hair down like a mask. I'm a huge BLEACH fan and creating a video on his masks and long hair. It always gave me confidence and girls LOVE LOVE LOVE it. But boys always made fun of my hair and how I dressed. THEN around 08' every guy had long hair, and sweaters. I got annoyed a bit, but then I realized I STARTED that in my school and that's awesome
I've been looking for a video about this topic, searched for it never found it, just pops up in my recommendation and its 3 years old 😂 you should get back into making videos man you earned a sub.
When I have short hair, I can develop software which changes the world. However, I'm always in the wrong place talking with the wrong person at the wrong time.
Hello! I grow my hair as well now and never cut it, it’s about 3 years that I don’t cut my hair, i read before 3 years is the time we need to wait so that the antennae’s start to grow, but for me in my experience I’m starting to have some insights. For exemple, I will listen something in my mind and it turns out to be true, similar to clairvoyance , I think is related to the intuition thing.
I had short hair for years. It felt like a part of my identity, especially as a more androgynous lesbian deciding not to give af what people think of what i want to. But then after neglecting getting a cut i decided i might as well keep growing it. Now its long and im still getting used to the hot and heavy feeling on my neck, and i still think part of me prefers the short look, but part of me does believe it could make sense it has spiritual benefits to grow it so Im not sure if I will cut it. Someone mentioned how militarys and prisons shave your hair and that stuck with me. Interesting you mention shaving the slaves heads. Im starting to want to embrace my long hair and maybe braid it. Do you think red hair is special? Some do
Red hair is 100% special. Many of the Pharaohs post hyksos invasion had red hair! Those with red hair are also generally Rh Neg blood type which is a fascinating strain that science still has yet to uncover the origin of… but some have there theories of course 🛸
Interesting video! While I don't believe about hair being 'magical', or necessary as it's dead keratin and cells that aren't directly related to your nerves in anyway other then blood supply I do find the look of long hair especially on men attractive if it's well cared for. I've been growing my own since 1/7/2021 and almost now 2.5 years in without a trim. it reaches to my shoulder blades and upper chest now. Doesn't look bad at all considering I had Norwood 5 level hair loss when I started. (I shaved bald for 5 years because of this, and doubts that it would look good with so much lost.) I did go on a hair loss med regimen a year ago and started micro-needling less then 2 weeks ago and it's coming back, slowly but surely. I prefer myself with long hair and I do grow my beard out as well.
What's do you think bleaching hair does to its spiritual aspects I've dyed my long hair blond does this destroy the antenna powers or does this just alter it.
Shaykh Muhammad ibn Ibraaheem was asked about that and he said: With regard to hair, the Prophet’s guidance is either to leave it all alone or to remove all of it. He did not shave part of it and leave part of it. What some Muslims do, which is to shave part of the head and leave part, is the qaza’ (tuft) which was forbidden by the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). This may take several forms: 1-Shaving some parts of the head and leaving others 2-Shaving the sides of the head and leaving the middle 3-Shaving the middle and leaving the sides 4-Shaving the front and leaving the back 5-Shaving the back and leaving the front 6-Shaving one side and leaving the other

Bro I have long hair 5 inches past my shoulders but I hate that it get tangled or split ends are you more spiritual if you don’t cut it or comb it help I’m thinking about cutting it 7 in
In the bible, the book of truth, it's written to man don't cut the sides of the hair in head, also don't make it specifics haircuts described ther and NEVER shave the beard.
My hair is like hip length and it’s still growing. I was thinking of cutting a lil bit bcuz tip part has split ends. Should I cut it or let it grow to full length?
It didn't seem like I could grow it much farther past the middle of my back for several months. I've cut it down to shoulder length now as it was time for a new beginning.
@@KevinBarryTV good i had 3 year long hair but then cut it drastically and after a week or so i felt very sad for the loss , it is kind of inexplicable the bad way it make me feel :( , but i am growing it again in a new way
4:16 lay some science. Quotes a Yoji lmao. I mean sure that opinion sounds fascinating but it's no science. Not against nor in vñfavor tho. Just pointing out the truth
