I'm a marine and I've been watching your videos for about a month now, I've taught myself how to cut hair for my fellow marines and I found my passion.... my passion is cutting hair(I'm not nearly as amazing as you fonz) and watching your videos really inspires me to help people look the best they can. when i was younger i never really realized when i asked for it shorter my barber basically had to cut my hair all over again..its kinda beat its like they doing two whole haircuts now i try to be as clear as possible and not too too picky

Looks more like a quiff than a slickback. You wanna keep some length at the front and top for a slickback to weigh the hair down. especially if it is thick. Still looks really good
My hair is in a similar style as this guys. The longest it’s been as I don’t think I’ve cut it since late 2019. I’ve been in this constant “I don’t want to cut it because it’s so long and luscious” to “I want to cut it but don’t know what to do with it” cycle. This leads me to do nothing with it and just living with it. I feel my current hair is a representation of these past 2 years and COVID. I really want to try something new as I enter a new chapter in my life so any ideas would be awesome
coconut curls. idk if u have straight hair like this dude but coconut curls will make it hella curly after 2-3 wks. if u want short hair crew cut/ buzz is the only acceptable move post long ass hair. i also have long ass hair but it’s curly and only goes down to where your shirt sits on your neck
