Ya... sorry I’m 53 years old born and raised on Long Island me and my whole family (older brothers) never ever heard of this place. I’ve covered Manhattan to Montauk.
If you end up in Long Island, a more well known classic of Long Island is All American Burger in Massapequa just a few miles down the road from this place.
Anna Candela I actually did. Last weekend I went down to Freeport to attend a Captain Lou fishing trip once after I stopped by and tried. Nonetheless it was alright, nothing to go crazy about lol
Lol “you’re buggin”-def know you’re from long island. I prefer a chicken cutlet classic #10 from atlantic deli in freeport or most delis on the south shore. I used to work on the captain lou
Been comming here for years! It was down the street from my Middle School! So happy they reopened and it's so cool to see this place and my town on a Food Insider edition! The place really is good. The homemade soups are great and they have a kicked up ketchup that adds a nice spicy kick to the fries! Obviously, the sazini is amazing but they have so much other great options!
Maybe. But I went yesterday and I grabbed the Sazini and a loaded baked potato soup and it was great. The chicken cutlet in the sazini was awesome. But the game changer is the Roscoe sauce. The soup was really good to. Great flavor. Seasoned right, I didnt add an extra salt or pepper. I'll go back
This place is amazing!!!!! The soup is out of this world the sazini!!!!! Ooofff soooooo goood . and if you like crab cakes..you got to try the high hook ...
Yeah i think i need to travel to Merrick. Not that far away. Been on LI since 01 now 24yrs old so i think ive been missing out. Theres alot of places on LI that are phenomenal. Branch out ppl
One town over from me and I never heard of it.. A big sandwich around here is a #10, chicken cutlet classic-cheese (a lot of ppl get mozz & bacon), lettuce, tomato w/ russian dressing or whatever you want.
It’s REALLY popular in France like it called a taco and u can have nuggets cheese sauce another sauce chips plus cordon bleu (needed turkey with ham and cheese)
i was deadass outside souper fry when this was being filmed and i was like wtf is goin on here j to find out food insider was doin a package a month later
Lol they definitely know how to hype a meal. I’m from LI and I’ve never heard of this place let alone their signature sandwich but nonetheless I’ll always support the home team. I’d try it for sure but I’m cool on the bacon...
Sorry, Food Insider but it ain't no Wrap-panini Hybride who from a Lab with Dexter come in France I'll show you what it is ! It's a French Tacos, this thing has take over the Kebab game in France for many years now
