They are called Speckled perch in the south. Crappie is the Yankee version.

There are white crappie in Florida. I fish escambia river in Pensacola and we have white and black.

Well here in the south they are called crappie not croppie.

Limits are great unless the lake the crappie are over populated causing the growth to be stagnat.

Too much bullshit not enough fishing! Nothing but a 25 min commercial! Waste of my time!
