Our family camped at Long Point Provincial Park on Lake Erie, near Port Rowan, Ontario. We enjoyed the beach and playground, visited the nearby Big Creek National Wildlife Area, and had a delicious lunch at the Chip Ship! Thanks for watching and Happy Camping!
Long Point is located on the traditional territory of the Mississauga, Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, Attiwonderonk, and Haudenosaunee Nations. We are thankful for the opportunity to enjoy this beautiful place.

Camped at Long Point, June 18 2022 in spot 233, first time camping at a Provincial Park in several years, so didn't know what to expect. Expect SAND here! lots of sand everywhere, its all about the sand here. The birds, the water, and the cute town of Port Rowan, are also a draw, but mainly you have to love sand. spots are not big, and open because less vegetation, comfort centre very clean. the beach can change very dramatically from year to year, winter storms, and spring rains... less rain this spring, so for 2022 the beach is so much larger than pictured! very cool beach vibe in the Long Point area, get out on your bike and ride the streets around the park, lovely way to spend a few hours. thanks for the video!

Thanks for the awesome comment! Yes, you definitely have to be prepared for the open sites - not always possible to set up a tarp! An excellent birding destination, for sure. Happy camping!
