We finally got the Long Range America Auxiliary Fuel Tank installed in my 2016 Jeep JKU Sahara. I'm so excited to hit the road now that I can carry 145L of fuel! Now I'll only have to fill twice as often as Andrew instead of 4 times, lol. Please Enjoy the video.

Popped over from the Overland Bound group. I am curious as to the weight of the kit-I reckon that is an additional 148 pounds of fuel once filled-so curious how much the actual kit adds. Given the sadly small payload of our Jeep JKs I figure that has to create limits somewhere else on your loadout? Can you provide any insight as to what you are doing in that regard and other mods that you made that may impact the vehicle weight?

Hi thanks for your comment. So I just did a 4000km trip in the Canadian tundra and did the ice roads up there. I definitely noticed some rear suspension issues. I already have plans to increase my load capacity with dual rate shocks and 4” lift kit, better shocks. I’ve already had it regeared to 4:56 for better acceleration and I am about to install the mopar J8 brake booster and master cylinder. This isn’t just because of the tank, I have a lot of extra weight due to steel bumpers and such
