In this week's video you can watch me long reining my Friesian cross for the first time!
Long reining is a training tool used to teach a young horse how to respond to reins. Most horse owners use it as the last step before they ride the horse for the first time.
Dream was incredibly well-behaved and I was astonished to see how quickly he took to it. Watch the video and see for yourself!

Hi sorry be a pain some people will agree with me on this but before u do anything with your horse put hat and gloves on? As you can never (trust) a horse not to kik and u have wrop burn that's were iv checked my information but the video was very good I learned at lot frome it xx

Hi James, thanks for the comment you make some very good points! I would definitely wear a hat and gloves if I was working with someone else's horse and should really do with mine too. I just know Dream's temperament very well by now and he has never kicked out at me in the two years of owning him so I've gotten very confident with handling him. Still, safety should definitely always come first 👍
