Long standing varicocele can damage Testes and Testicular Artery. 

Varicocele is the dilatation of Pampiniform plexus which is a bunch of Testicular veins. Varicocele which is present and untreated for long time or is chronic can cause significant damage to man's fertility, semen quality and at times cause irreversible damage to the Testes and Testicular Artery. In this video we describe a patient's perspective for had tolerated varicocele for a long time which led to a small sized testes and testicular Artery. His problem and life with Varicocele and his anxiety on realising that the testes is small sized as compared to the other. In addition to Small sized testes during surgery for Varicocele the Testicular Artery was extremely small in size. The testicular Artery could be identified with difficulty even with the use of Intra Op Doppler. Without the Doppler help it would have been difficult to preserve the Artery.
