Cool mate. Had it for coil spring setup on Navara alongside with OldManEMU. Initially took me a while to get the right PSI to pair it right. Too much compression or lil’ to none rebound. Finally manage to replace a stiffer OME dampers and runs between 20-25PSI depending on load. Cheers mate.
I've got a gu patrol and I'm very tempted to get airbag man's coil replacement kit. I'm nervous about reliability but there's a lot of pros and the fact that most of the newer caravans and camper trailers are going this way makes me feel like I should get with the times aha Have you heard anything bad about the coil replacement kits?
No I've heard no bad feedback yet. They do look great. The only downside to airbags is chasing leaks. The more complex the system the more joins meaning more likely to have leaks at some point. But once the leaks are sorted they are fantastic 👍
Appreciate the reply mate At least with this kit there's an on board air compressor so you'd think the auto leveling system would keep on top of minor leaks until you hopefully get everything sorted if there's a warranty Sounds like that's the most common issue and punctures shouldn't be an issue 🤞
Curious about GU Wagon full Front and rear coil replacement. Q1. On road handling same better or worse? Q2 What travel can we expect? e.g. can it offer Std height for on road up to 4" off road if the GU has supporting arms and shocks to suit this? Q3. Has anyone been using it for a long period for touring and off road that can offer their feedback?
@@Campingdownunder too right, I have a jack off canopy, so don't want to go too a real heavy suspension for when I take it off. Ill chat to the experts but enjoyed this vid. Thanks... Also have you done a review on the bushman upright yet? Keen on your thoughts.
Nah I haven't yet. I'm in the process of upgrading to lithium batteries so my fridge is out of the canopy. I want to really test it out before giving my opinion on it. But so far I'm still loving it 👍
They make your suspension stiffer giving you less flex so it would make the body roll worse. Unless you only pump up the side that might tip over pushing the truck away from the angle
