I was just told that is am a long-term nonprogressor. Which my Doctor explained it to be a fluke of some sort , where the virus does not replicate as fast in my body..I am undetectable, and my CD4 count is 897...I was diagnosed January 15 2003. I was diagnosed in 1987 and told I would be dead in 18 months. I refused AZT and I am still alive and kicking 29 years later and I have not had a physical sick day in those 29 years. According to my present doctor I am full blown AIDS. Can you tell me how that can be!

I don't have the HIV virus, but if I ever did get it, at least I have the HLA B27 allele which the video pointed out as have a protective effect against HIV.
