Written by Dave Alvin and recorded by the Blasters before Dwight covered it , which sent many residual checks to his friend's mailbox. These guys really do the song much justice. The singer resembles Van Morrison or Nils Lofgren.

And OMG, Like me, the Lead singer is the Bassman !!! Tough to master, but beyond Great... Stellar! This will now be my "Cruising Tune" in my Black 61 Coupe DeVille~! Sorry Dwight!

Yes indeedy!. I saw the Blasters play this on American Bandstand. I am not a big fan of remakes, because they usually suck. This one was great. Love Pete Anderson's guitar work on the DY version of this song.

I HATE remakes. Hate them. I saw The Blasters doing this on American Bandstand.....but this remake is actually great. Pete Anderson rips on this this one.
