I think a lot of that is due to the ride crew almost always running three trains. Even if the line is at the stairs, they will run ops at full capacity. It can still draw a crowd, but usually only on holidays.
@@blurgh7706home park does not necessarily mean it is in the state you live in or the closest park to you. For example I don't live in Ohio and KI is my home park and Kentucky kingdom is closer to me but I go to kings island more, so home park is the park you go to the most
Banshee's crew is widely known for being one of the fastest in the park and that is saying alot because operations at Kings Island are top notch in general.
It still blows my mind how few people take advantage of the fast pass. I was there last Halloween haunt, nice weather on a Saturday. The big 5 coasters all had 1-2 hr waits throughout the day and we were getting on everything in 5-10 min. Ended up getting about 35 rides in one day.
In the CF conference call yesterday, the execs mentioned that FastPass sales are down because outside of heavy capacity events like Haunt, group sales haven't recovered yet and it's leading to lighter crowds on regular operating days than pre-pandemic.
Best Fast Lane deal in the U.S. Everything is a station merge point except Flight of Fear, and Bat has no Fast Lane. Except for October weekend nights when the park is overrun with marijuana and "teenagers", park security loses control, line cutting goes wild, and the fast lane waits balloon to over an hour.
@@kirblar The price point effect they didn't get into. 2022 FL prices were up from 2021 in which they had the prices too low most of the season & finally corrected it in Augusts. Those low prices drove sales, however made FL worse as FL lines were sometimes long. 2022 weekend FL was $250 at CP for the starting pre sale price, it went higher as the day approached. That price point lowered sale quantity, however made the purchase a better experience with shorter FL lines. I have platinum all season FL & could witness the price effect..2022 Fl was a far superior experience. They also mentioned having popular attractions down had an effect..Top Thrill at CP & Xcelerator at Knotts, these are rides that you often need FL for, especially weekends.
When are u going? Lol I've been 8 times this year and never waited over 30 min for anything other than a beast night ride and that was because the pause for the fireworks.
flight of fear is definitely the longest, but personally i have never seen banshee with more than a 10 minute wait. the beast is usually a walk on for me, same for the bat
for the big log ride (i forgot what its called) i got on it 7 times in a row with only 2 or 1 people (it was at the end of the day at almost fireworks)
@@wyguythebighypeman actually if I recall Cedar Fair stopped it because back when they first switched them PTC said they weren’t liable insurance wise for anything that happened from changing the direction but when CF bought the park they didn’t want to potentially deal with insurance issues
I am just saying from personal experience and going a lot least summer the wait times often will be 5 minutes at most maybe 15 minutes on the weekends on the most popular the longest I had to wait in the summer was 45 on the 4 of July But.... Haunt waits are crazy I wanted 2 hours for Orion but then FoF was 45 to so during the Summer you will have very little waits but it is interesting to see what the stats where since I have not personally experienced that
