Orion is my favorite b&m favorite b&m ride models inverted and giga/hyper biggest bucket list Fury325 underrated intimidator is because of its trim but I view it as just fine
Being from Nebraska and having this as my default home park, I do enjoy coming to this park. The ride variety is solid, there's no shortage of places to refill your souvenier cup, and they've gradually been adding unique new food options. Hopefully another solid addition will be coming soon in light of the World Cup and that new Mattel Adventure Park soon coming to the area.
This might sound crazy but I think it’ll be a Vekoma like Hyperion except bigger and better because with the power of hindsight if you look at cedar point first they got wild mouse then they had the same company help with ttd now I’m thinking kings island is doing that with vekoma
I’ve only been on leviathan behemoth and Yukon striker but I want to try so many more. Leviathan is the most fun out of the 3 but Yukon has the best drop. Behemoth is fun but not as smooth
Diamondback is my favorite night ride. It's because there are no lights. It's just dark. You can't see what's coming. You can only feel it. If you get one of the last rides on it, you get the fireworks display as you ride in darkness. It's awesome.
FINALLY! Im not the only one that prefers Orion a slight bit more than Diamondback! I actually like that most hills go very high on Orion. I've done I305 & Fury325 but Orion is more my style. Despite being shy about displaying its height in the name... It lets you know repeatedly that it is a huge coaster... Except in duration 😅 it's quite a tease; ending brake run being within 3ft of the height that The Racer STARTS its journey 😅 I would say I like... Millie a slight bit less.. but that you get more bang for your time waiting.. Orion is equal to fury for me.. for different reasons. im not big on low to the ground speed... Unless you're actually close to things... To tell that you're going fast. Low on Orion may have worked better being adjacent to the woods..but we'll never know! & KI removed trees excessively in that triangular space anyways so... Who knows.
My Rankings 1 Steel Vengeance (been my no1 ever since opening day) 2 Maverick 3 Millennium Force 4 Valravn (im not a GP I swear 😡) 5 Magnum XL 200: 6 Raptor 7 Gatekeeper 8 Gemini 9 Rougarou 10 Blue Streak (I think even without dragster cedar point has the world's best coaster lineup with these 10 coasters) 11 Wild Mouse 12 Iron Dragon 13 Corkscrew 14 Woodstock Express 15 CCMR 16 Wilderness Run
This might be a dumb question, but just to make sure, lets say i ride manta but not acrobat, acrobat does not count as a credit, even though its the same layout. Right?
Acrobat and manta are both separate credits. All cloned rides are separate credits because they each exist separately and at the same time. Same with racing coasters because they can exist separately as their own coasters, but they are next to each other for guests’ entertainment
Originally named "Superman", the Nighthawk has always had a very long wait time in the line, partially due to maintenance issues mentioned in the video. I rode it once several years ago at night right before the park closed because that's when the line was at its shortest. However, it wasn't as good of an experience as I thought it would have been...I guess because it was harder to see where we were going despite the park being well-lit. If it weren't for the jets flying over the park on final approach to CLT, I wouldn't have gotten the sensation that I was "flying" 😄. If I remember correctly, The Carolina Cyclone's corkscrews were rough on my neck the last time I rode it...which has been close to 10 years ago now. However, The Vortex wasn't as rough of a ride from what I recall. As far as The Hurler is concerned, it might be a rough wooden coaster, but it's SOO much better than the late Thunder Road twin coasters that were torn down in 2015 to make room for the water park expansion.
one that doesn't fit the criteria, but I'd say, if you can, absolutely come out here for it, is Lagoon in Farmington, Utah, their standout coaster is Cannibal, an in house hyper coaster with the tallest beyond vertical drop in the world and the world's only Lagoon Roll, plus an amazing supporting lineup to go with that as well since they have Colossus, a Schwarzkopf doppler looper, Wicked, the first Zierer Tower Coaster, and the first full circuit coaster to have a vertical launch, and the all new Primordial, which I can't talk about because yes, this ride has spoilers
If the same roller coaster at two different parks (cloned) is two different credits then how come the same roller coaster directly next to and racing each other is only one credit? I think that you may need to rethink this one. Also, I disagree with log flumes being roller coasters regardless of if it connects to a track at some point or not.
Favorite: Fury 325 Favorite ride model: Hyper (Specifically Gigas but B&M calls them Hypers.) Biggest B&M bucket list coaster: GateKeeper (The only B&M model I haven't ridden is a Wing Coaster.) Should've made the list: Alpengeist, Apollo's Chariot, Afterburn, Intimidator, Kraken Underrated B&Ms: Intimidator (lives in Fury's shadow and I felt that it had better airtime than Mako in any row but especially the back) and Kraken (I prefer it to Dominator. Relentless and trenches and tunnel are very fun to fly through.)
